Joyce is a true ball hawk in the middle of the third level the Teton defense and a First-Team All State Selection. He covers the entire field with long strides, closing speed and outstanding breaking ability and ball skills. He is a big time hitter from the back end, and does a nice job at breaking up passes over the middle while able to break quickly without false steps and close in a hurry on pass catchers while tremendous in run support. Joyce is truly one of the top defenders in all of Idaho, and should be moving up our ranks in the next update and currently checks in as the number one defensive back in the 2026 class across the state.
Highlights
Apelu has the ideal size for the position, especially for his age and will have no shortage of varsity playing experience as he gets going into his Junior season. He is a violent blocker with a strong lower half, good punch and gets defenders quickly off their rush with a low hat and finish downfield. He is a true interior mauler that excels at blocking in-between the tackles but can also get to the second level and pull across the LOS as well with solid movement and is a snapper out of his stance.
Apelu should be an All-Conference selection as a junior in 2024, and one of the better IOL prospects Idaho has in this 2026 class.
Highlights
Weaver is a big time target on the outside that could end up growing into a true Y/tight end as he progresses through his final two seasons for Mountain View. He provides a nice position versatility on the outside and has a huge catch radius with high-point abilities on 50/50 balls and is a long strider that gets off the line quickly and can cover a ton of ground and create separation in the open field. He has fluid hips and good change of direction abilities for his size while also showing strong hands in traffic and good body control when going up to make plays on the ball. His length, downfield speed and catch radius make him a very intriguing prospect to watch and see how he develops over the next couple of years.
Highlights
Scholes is a big kid with a strong lower half and is a true North and South blocker and excels when playing in the box and in tight windows. He does a good job at using defenders weight against them and understands leverage when finishing blocks downfield. He is a still developing prospect that has room to grow but checks into our current rankings the top five player at his position and will be a name to watch out for along the offensive line come this Fall.
