A two day 7v7 tournament that featured teams from all over New England and its surrounding states. In this article i will preview five prospects from the home team “NOS ELITE” that stood out to me after this event.
Jarred Mighty Jarred Mighty 5’11” | 160 lbs | DB Brockton | 2026 New E is a Defensive Back listed at 5’11” and 160 pounds. He plays for Brockton High School in Brockton, Ma. At this particular 7v7 event he was lined up at safety and slot receiver occasionally, proving to be a threat on both sides of the ball. Jared has exceptional speed. He covers a lot ground when playing deep balls at the safety position. He flashes the ability of a true safety that needs to be able to cover a deep half of the field in cover 2 situations. He shows good instincts when reading and reacting to break up passes. Jarred’s strongest attribute is his speed. One particular offensive play that stood out to me was him lining up at slot receiver and catching a 5 yard drag route and turning it up the sidelines for a huge gain because of his ability to accelerate and run away from defenders. After doing a little research on Jarred I was able to confirm his speed. He recently just ran a 55.78 second 400 meter hurdles and 15.55 second 110 meter hurdles. I expect Jarred to play a big role at Brockton this fall and will begin to prove himself to be a worthy recruit for class of 2026.

Angel Gonzalez Angel Gonzalez 5’10” | 160 lbs | DB New E is 6’1 and 175 pound Athlete that can truly do it on both sides of the ball. At this event he was making plays left and right on both sides of the ball all over the field. He caught several touchdown passes for his team and had numerous pass break-ups. On offense, he proved to be a skilled route runner with strong reliable hands and excellent ball skills that can make catches anywhere on the field. He shows an excellent leadership quality as well, constantly being verbally positive and supportive to motivate his teammates. On defense, Angel can line up at slot corner and cover inside and he can also line up on the outside and cover there. He is patient & physical at the line in press man disturbing receivers with his ability to run with you and get his hands on you at same time. He can flip his hips and get in and out of brakes with good technique which lead to multiple pass breakups for him. Im predicting him to have a huge season at Thayer Academy this fall as he returns as the teams number one option in the pass game and in the secondary.

Caleb Altidor Caleb Altidor 6’1″ | 195 lbs | LB Cardinal Spellman | 2025 New E is a Linebacker at Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton, Ma. He is listed at 6’1″ and 195 pounds. After seeing him in live action i can say these physical measurables check out for him. Caleb is a long 6’1″ who looks to have some more room to grow into his frame. Caleb impressed me with his ability to lineup at middle linebacker and cover slot receivers that were often smaller and quicker than him. He plays physical in man coverage getting his hands on receivers disrupting timing with the opposing teams quarterbacks. He was the vocal leader for the defense all tournament. Something you don’t always necessarily get in a 7v7 environment. On every play he was quarterbacking his defense calling out formations and making defensive calls when the offense would break the huddle. It’s very easy to see how locked in he is. Definetly a prospect to dive deeper into. His physical measurables aligns as a FCS Division 1 prospect.

Nate Gomes Nate Gomes 6’1″ | 180 lbs | ATH Randolph Ma. | 2025 State New E is 6’1″ and 185 pounds. His mesurables check out after seeing him in person. He plays Running Back and Safety for his high school team, Randolph High School. Last season he rushed for over a 1,ooo yards. At this 7v7 event he lined up at Wide Receiver and Safety. Played snaps on both sides of the ball the majority of the game. Offensively its easy to see has a talent for route running. He naturally understands leverages and how to move defenders to free himself up and get open. He sees the field well knowing when to settle in zone spots. He’s has a lengthy frame that allows him to be a valuable and reliable target in the middle of the field. He can also free up on the outside and make plays. He has deceptive speed. Defensively he shows excellent instincts. Breaks and drives on the ball with tenacity. Nate currently has some interest from schools like UNH, Georgetown, Stonehill, Bentley & more. I expect him to gain some more interest from schools this summer and fall.

Tristan Yepdo Tristan Yepdo 6’1″ | 170 lbs | DB Brooks School | 2026 State New E is a 6’1″ and 180 pound Defensive Back at Brooks School in North Andover, Ma. Tristan has great athleticism. He plays with a ton of energy. He can run and jump with almost anyone. He will high point the ball for pass breakups down field in 1 on 1 situations making plays look easier than they are. He has loose hips making it very easy for him to transition in and out of breaks. His ability to play the ball for pass breakups is a strong suit of his. He flashes signs of having elite Defensive Back skills. He’s entering his junior season this fall at Brooks School and should be a big time playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. Tristan is definitely a prospect that needs to be followed and looked at more closely. His physical measurables (height & weight) align his as a Div 1 prospect.
