He has a lean, well-developed frame with good coverage skills over the top as a ball hawk. At safety, he is instinctive and will come down hard to deliver the boom. He is also having a great season on offense as a WR. His long arms allow him to easily pluck the ball from the air. He easily passes an eye test.

Tristan Yepdo Tristan Yepdo 6'1" | 183 lbs | DB Brooks School | 2026 State New E is a 6’1″ and 180 pound Defensive Back at Brooks School in North Andover, Ma. Tristan has great athleticism. He plays with a ton of energy. He can run and jump with almost anyone. He will high point the ball for pass breakups down field in 1 on 1 situations making plays look easier than they are. He has loose hips making it very easy for him to transition in and out of breaks. His ability to play the ball for pass breakups is a strong suit of his. He flashes signs of having elite Defensive Back skills. He’s entering his junior season this fall at Brooks School and should be a big time playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. Tristan is definitely a prospect that needs to be followed and looked at more closely. His physical measurables (height & weight) align his as a Div 1 prospect.

The rising defenisve back had a great season on both sides of the ball. He has very good field vision while playing safety and has great speed to come down for run support and make plays. His play on offense shined this season. He was a deep threat weapon that defenses had to account for or take a loss.
What I like the most in his skill set is his ability and desire to hustle and strike through ball carriers on defense. He can also be a ball hawk at safety because he reads the field well and has the obvious quickness to react fast. I like how he is so involved on both sides of the ball as a sophomore. This will surely help his recruiting stock. At 6’1″ 170lbs, his lean athletic frame stands out and has me curious as to how much more growth potential he has left.
Before season play, we had him ranked as the #2 defensive back in class of 2026 in New England.

Comes up nicely for run support and will deliver a strike through the ball carrier. Needs to loosen up his hips(Yoga), a bit to help with stopping quickly, redirecting, and turning. A solid athlete with huge potential through development. He will be ranked in our next rankings release Feb 2023.
