4 Fall Breakout Candidates From The Indiana Combine

He worked in as a freshman at RB on Varsity. Then, last year he was moved to DB full-time. He told me there's some talk about going back on offense this year, but if anything, I'd like to see him play both sides. He's such a good athlete that keeping him on 1 side of the ball could limit his ability. He's a healthy 6'2u0022 and 205lbs, running a 4.87 40-yard dash, 4.53 shuttle, a 9'6u0022 broad jump (2nd best at camp), and a blazing 7.01 L-drill. His change of direction and ability to accelerate make him so unique for his size. The speed, start and stop ability, change of direction, and wiggle he has are all top-notch. If you get the ball in his hands, he's someone who can do a ton of damage after the catch. While I didn't have an updated H/W for him, he ran a 4.7 40-yard dash and had the 2nd fastest shuttle of the day at 4.38 seconds. He had a few of the more impressive catches of the day, including 1 diving grab with the DB right on chest. One guy who looked good testing and then in drill work was Moriarty. He's coming off of his 2nd year playing both sides of the ball for Varsity where he's continuing to improve. He's got a well-built frame that he's growing into and knows how to play behind. His pad level is typically very good and he won't rise when engaging. He came out on Sunday and tested well and looks to be ready for his opportunity. He's not the biggest back coming in Sunday at 5'8u0022 165lbs, but he's not a power back. He's a quick one-cut speedy back who can find creases and exploit them. He ran a fairly respectable 4.86 40-yard dash both times, a 4.43 shuttle, and a 6.85 L-drill. All of which back what his tape shows.
