The Bluejays made a deep playoff run, and almost earned a trip to Madison and a championship. That team returns a lot of key impact players this fall, and with another offseason under their belt we could see a special season come from this group. Among this deep roster are seven 2025s that I want to spotlight. That includes ATHs, edge defenders, impressive OL, and more. Let’s get started!
Jaydon has seen his recruitment really pick up steam this offseason after a dominant junior season. The 6’3″ 215 lbs DE/OLB has a powerful, explosive first step off the snap. His body control and bend around the edge give him the ability to dip under linemen and play at body angles that give him leverage when bull rushing. Jaydon has a quickly developing pass rush skill set as well. He sets up moves well and will counter off them. The ’25 DE uses his long arms and strong hands to rip or swim on OTs. Lanser has the range to make the high motor chase down plays too. Jaydon is a productive edge, with power, length, agility, and bend to develop into a force off the edge at the next level. Check out his junior Hudl highlights.

While 6′ 200 lbs isn’t the prototypical size, Carson was a stout LB for the Menasha defense in 2023. Carson shined when stuffing the run between the tackles. The junior excels at staying clean in the trenches. He is able to attack the lane while avoiding blockers. Miller has solid lateral mobility that allows him to slide across the formation while staying square so he can trigger downhill and make the tackle when he gets square with the ball carrier. Carson also flashed some range to get out in space and chase down ball carriers that got outside of contain. The LB is a prospect that the D3 level should have their eyes on this summer and fall.

Logan is an interesting prospect to analyze and project. At 5’10” 200 lbs he doesn’t have the frame of what you expect in a college QB. However, Logan brings a dual threat to the field with his 4.82 40 speed and we have seen undersized dual threat QBs get chances at the next level because that athleticism opens them up to potentially play more positions. That is why we have him as an ATH at PRZ WI. We feel he can help at more than one position potentially. On the ground he uses his size to finish runs and create extra yards after contact. He has solid agility in traffic to get through small seams and avoid LBs. As a passer I was impressed with the anticipation he threw with as well. The 2025 was also productive and accurate with his throws. Keep an eye on him this fall. We have seen some impressive final seasons from undersized QBs that led them to getting roster offers from the next level.

Elijah Gigl
Elijah Gigl
Menasha is going to have a pair of bowling balls for defenses to try and stop in the run game this fall. One is the QB in the segment above. The other is the 5’9″ 200 lbs RB that will be lining up next to Logan in the backfield. Elijah is a patient runner when he has the ball behind the OL. He trusts his blockers and his vision to find the lane and then gets up to speed quickly. Elijah is a decisive runner as well. Once he starts going up field he is looking to either beat angles with speed or lower his shoulder and give the defender a hard time trying to bring him down. Gigl has the speed to consistently break off the long runs at this level and his contact balance will translate to the next level. The RB has also shown explosive lateral agility to get himself into gaps when he finds them last second. Elijah finished with almost 800 yards and 8 TDs in 2023. I’m expecting both of those numbers to go up. Don’t sleep on the Meansha RB.

Javon Haste
Javon Haste
An impressive OT that is new to my radar is Javon Haste. Javon has a great frame for the position at 6’5″ 275 lbs. A frame that comes with a powerful lower body. That lower body gives the big OT a stout, consistent anchor in pass protection. He is able to stand up bull rushers at the line of scrimmage. In the run game, Javon does a great job with his feet. They stay wide, giving him a powerful base and uses his length to engage and then runs his feet through the defender until the whistle blows. That lower body strength flashes in the run game as he removes DL off the line. His subtle lateral agility to stay on blocks is key to his game as well. Check out some of the tape from the soon to be senior OT.

Jordan Sconiers
Jordan Sconiers
Another impressive OL prospect is the 6’4″ 265 lbs Jordan Sconiers. Jordan played all over the OL in 2023 from center to tackle. He made it look easy wherever he lined up because of his far superior explosive power and quickness. Jordan bursts out of his stance in the run game and instantly turns that quickness into power when he makes contact. We see him run his feet through that contact leading to a big push in the trenches that moves the line of scrimmage downfield. Even while playing as quickly as Jordan does you don’t see him get caught off balance or reaching because he has excellent balance and trusts his athleticism so he doesn’t have to reach or hurry. Jordan is an impressive under the radar prospect to watch.

Mason Werfal
Mason Werfal
A third member of what is going to be a talented offensive line is Mason Werfal. The 6’3″ 240 lbs junior impresses me with the technique and power he has in that 240 lbs frame. Mason is light on his feet in pass protection, easily mirroring rushers, landing a solid first punch, and shutting down bull rush attempts with his anchor. Mason also uses leverage very well in the run game. He gets under his opponent and drives them right off the ball. I’m excited for his potential because his frame looks like it can hold the size and strength that will be added at the next level.
