This was the most receiving yards and 2nd most receiving TDs of any player in Class 2A for the 2023 year. He showed good quickness in his release to get into his route down field, and then used speed and physicality at the top of the route to separate and make a catch over the shoulder. He then showed very good speed to break away from the defender to continue running for a long TD. Jerriah also isn't afraid to run crossing routes over the middle of the field, and displayed good concentration and body adjustment to make a catch on an inaccurate pass against Middle Park High School in 2022. Additionally, his concentration and awareness helped to keep his feet in bounds to secure a pass near the sideline. Further displaying his athleticism, Jerriah had 2 Kickoff TD returns on 5 attempts, averaging 34.8 yards per return. With the Bulldogs QB and their next two leading receivers departing following their Senior years, Jerriah has a tall task ahead of him to build on this past year as he may see more double teams. I think he is up to the task, so stay connected with us to continue following his journey. Hopefully we see more film from him this upcoming year.u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d54a"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/18322564/631e850d57982a0b28812fcb' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d6bd"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Austin Stiers","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"5'10u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"165","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2407","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Bennett","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eAustin had 431 receiving yards on 14 catches for a massive 30.8 yards per catch, with 3 of those being TDs. He played as a dual threat out of the backfield where he also posted 488 rushing yards on 110 carries. Austin led the Tigers in receiving yards and was 3rd on the team in rushing yards. Austin played in a run heavy offense that used play action to get him open downfield on passing plays. Lining up at TE, he showed solid burst off the line in his release and good strength to fight through contact and stay on his route to get open behind the defense. After getting behind the defense, Austin showed good concentration to secure the pass with a defender closing in on him near the goal line to score the TD. On running plays, he showed good vision to find running lanes through traffic which led to 4 two-point conversions. Additionally, when Austin found space to run he displayed solid agility to make defenders miss and also break through arm tackles. His toughness and versatility was also displayed on the defensive side of the ball at Linebacker, where he had 41 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 recoveries with 45 return yards. As Austin has another year to grow and develop, we can only expect him to step it up next year for the Tigers who keep their starting QB and their Offensive Line stays completely intact.u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d782"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17603400/651892d190f95c178c54e1c6' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d7a8"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Josiah Gonzales","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"null","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Fort Lupton","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eJosiah had 327 receiving yards on 16 catches, including 1 TD in his Sophomore season for the Blue Devils. Additionally, he led the team with 219 yards on Kick returns for a 19.9 average and had 58 Punt return yards for a 8.3 average. Overall, he was 2nd on the team in all-purpose yards, showing much versatility as an offensive weapon. On the defensive side of the ball, Josiah averaged 3.1 tackles per game as a DB, with 1 INT and 4 pass break-ups, which were all the most among any Sophomore on the team. We expect to see Josiah step it up a lot next year as the 2nd leading receiver on the team is leaving after his Senior year, and he will have another year to improve his skills as a returner and defender. He was 2nd on the team in receiving yards behind only a departing Senior. When Robert saw his only chance to return a kick, he exploded for a 47 yard return. Showing further offensive versatility, he ran 7 times for 53 yards and a TD. Robert shows very good quickness in his release to get into his route, and then good speed and physicality to separate at the top of his route. Additionally, he displayed the ability to identify inside leverage against off coverage and used solid quickness on a slant route. Robert has good hands as he catches the ball with his hands and not his arms, and he shows that he can also secure the ball through contact. He shows good toughness as he is not afraid to go across the middle and he fights through contact for extra yards. Robert has very good speed in the open field to break away from defenders and eat up yards after the catch. His skills transferred to the defensive side as well, where he had 2 INTs as a DB and 18 total tackles on the season. With every other WR on the team being a Senior, we should expect to see a big leap forward for Robert next year.u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d8fe"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17690943/653ff955ab92a90b40b0bfe6' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-663d55de7d920"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Ryland Lane","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"null","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2408","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Rifle","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eRyland had 11 catches for 204 yards along with 36 carries for 173 yards and 2 TDs for the Bears in his Sophomore season. Proving to be even more versatile he had 63 tackles and 3 INTs, with one returned for a TD, while playing at OLB. His 63 tackles were 3rd most on the team with only 2 Seniors ahead of him.
