Highlights
Nicknamed by many “Lockdown Deuce” Trinity Episcopal star defensive back is what his nickname says. A four star corner who was yet to make his college choice, Edwards is a first-team all private league selection, which is no small feat. Considering the boom the VISAA Private Leagues are seeing with the influx of talent across the east coast, for him to be named first team is very impressive. This dude would have found his way high into our rankings regardless of who he plays for, he is that good.
Since previously writing on Oscar Smith’s Jahmari Deloatch (see below), he has chosen to take his talents to Michigan and new head Coach Sherone Moore and his staff should be thrilled that he did.
Oscar Smith is another powerhouse that traditionally has a few division 1 kids they send out every season. Defensive back Jahmari Deloatch is the latest as he has already received major power 5 offers from Syracuse, Michigan, Boston College and Virginia just to name a few. The four star corner plays that way on and off the field with a stellar 3.61 GPA. Deloatch is also a state champion in track & field proving once again that playing more than one sport is only going to benefit you in the long run. Wherever he ends up in 2025, the coaches and respective fan base should know they are getting a young man who will make a positive impact instantly.
Committing to Virginia Tech back in February Green Run’s Knahliji Harrell has not seen his momentum slow down one bit as more schools are still sending offers. Harrell technique and footwork are second to none and you are not going to find many receivers that are going to outrun him. His size is solid at 6’0 170 lbs and his footwork and speed more than make up for any bigger opponent that he faces.
Indian Run’s Jakeyese Graves comes in as our 5th ranked corner but believe me he could of been ranked higher. Ranked 26th in the state Graves has a plethora off FBS level offers ranging from James Madison, West Virginia, Marshall and many more. Yet to make his college choice, Graves is a fierce and physical defensive back who is not afraid to stick his nose into anyone.
