Next up in our positional evaluations of the 2025 class we dive into the Athletes! These are prospects that might not project to one specific position, but their physical tools jump off the charts and could play a number of different positions. Here is 2025 Film Room: Chicago Athletes!

[player_tooltip player_id='213605' first='Jovan' last='Clark'] (Morgan Park – 6'0” 200)

Clark is the definition of a freak show athlete! Strong and super athletic. He can play safety, linebacker, or even some running back. Probably projects best as a linebacker at the next level. Reacts so well to the ball with his burst getting to the ball carrier. Closing speed is incredible and he lays the hammer with his hitting once he gets there. Takes tremendous angles to make the tackle and wraps up well. Really pursues the ball slicing through the line of scrimmage for tackles for loss beating blockers to their spots. Also shows well in coverage especially as a linebacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='383436' first='Nashaun' last='Brown'] (Johnson College Prep – 5'9” 175)

This is the true definition of an athlete as he lines up at middle linebacker, wide receiver, and wildcat QB. On the defensive side the strong and stocky 5'9" defender is a very physical tackler. Also is an absolute playmaker in coverage getting picks. On the offensive side he can use his athleticism and strength to make plays down the field and is a very good wildcat QB at the goal line!

[player_tooltip player_id='331466' first='Jack' last='Wanzung'] (St. Ignatius – 6'0” 190)

Wanzung is the quarter back in St. Ignatius' triple option attack. He is considerably better as a runner than passer. Love the long speed he has and athleticism. Solid passer, but probably projects to another position at the next level. The athleticism is very impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='537272' first='Will' last='Carlson'] (Loyola – 6'0” 185)

Carlson projects as a strong bodied wide receiver with sure hands. Like the size and frame. Body control on catches downfield. Crisp route runner and adjusts to the ball well. Gets off the line and brings some physicality in the blocking game.

[player_tooltip player_id='833300' first='Quinn' last='Duhon'] (Whitney Young – 5'8” 155)

Duhon is an undersized safety that is an absolute playmaker. He cuts on the ball so well making breaks for picks and PBU's. Excellent instincts over the middle. Very quick reaction time. Size is really only thing that holds him back.

[player_tooltip player_id='581102' first='James' last='Hill'] (Phillips – 5'7” 150)

Hill is a 5'7" athlete that plays wide out and defensive back. Good speed and tackles low. Size will be the issue. Projects best as a nickel.

[player_tooltip player_id='833306' first='Emmett' last='Romeus'] (Fenwick – 5'11” 175)

Romeus is a 5'11" wide out with a solid build. Good footwork and sure hands.
