The 2024 Jenison PM camp was one of the best Camps I've ever attended. This camp was chock-full with incredible talent. Mostly in the skill positions, college coaches were blown away by the amount of talent in attendance. Check back early tomorrow morning for Part 2!

Chris was my #1 most anticipated player coming into these Jenison camps. I quickly realized that nearly every college coach in attendance had Chris circled on their roster, too. I'm not even going to hide it; I know that GV, SVSU, Wayne St, NIU, and SEVERAL other colleges in attendance loved what Chris did this afternoon. He's bubbly, competitive, athletic, and smart. Chris always did his best to go up against the best receivers at the camp, and more often than not, he did well. There were also several reps where Chris showed off his vertical and ball skills. If Chris signs up for a few more camps, he's going to get high-tier GLIAC offers in no time at all.

I barely watched any OL/DL play early in the PM camp, but I was able to watch Ace in the positional drills and I talked with him post-camp. During the drills, Ace was one of the quickest and most athletic linemen. After the camp, I asked Ace how he thought he did, and he was very confident that he performed excellent, which I fully believe. I know that some colleges are extremely picky when it comes to height, and several colleges won't even look his way because of his height. In my opinion, almost nobody should be counted out because of being a couple of inches below the elite average for the position. Ace can play, and his Ferris State offer proves that enough.

Blake is someone I am extremely high on as a prospect. In a recent tweet, I said he has D1 talent. This afternoon, he performed on-par with how I expected him to perform, with a few minor hiccups. First off, his size is everything as advertised. He looks 6'5" and has a good amount of muscle put on him, but still slightly undersized for an elite D1 TE. I liked most of the routes he ran, but he had a few contested drops which he'll need to clean up. A good day for Blake, and I'm extremely excited for the rest of his offseason.

TE/EDGE | [player_tooltip player_id='1290840' first='Tyler' last='Brinks'] | South Christian | @tyler_brinks

Tyler was another MASSIVE standout that everyone was talking about. I didn't watch many of his routes, but that's because most colleges were clamoring about his potential as an EDGE rusher. In a recent Hudl Discoveries article, I called Tyler an extremely high-ceiling EDGE rusher. It seems like a lot of college coaches share that opinion. Moving forward, I would highly recommend Tyler bulk up and work his tail off as a DE/EDGE. If he does, he could earn himself D1 offers or, at the very least, jumpstart his development at that position. Even if he doesn't earn D1 offers, Tyler should receive GLIAC offers with a few more camps.

LB | [player_tooltip player_id='602239' first='Darekeo' last='Speech'] | Muskegon | @D1_Reek

I didn't watch Dareko too much, but I had him circled on my roster for a reason. In the reps I did see, he looked extremely quick, and he put in his 110% effort on each and every rep. He'll be someone who I will continue to keep a very close eye on this offseason.
