This week, Prep Redzone Scout Drew Johnson will highlight instrumental recruits who have consistently produced this season. As noted frequently, Prep Redzone Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels and readers to evaluate.
Jayden Wade Jayden Wade 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB IMG Academy | 2028 FL | QB | 2028 | IMG | @LightsOutWade7
Wade is one of the premier 2028 rising QBs in the country who possesses all the tools to develop into a big-time star at the position. He’s made noise in the off-season with notable camp performances while receiving P4 offers as an 8th grader. Look out for his overall recruitment to take off as he adds game film to his impressive build.
Austan Cristaan | QB | 2028 | @AustanQB
Not too many 2028s with starting varsity experience but Cristaan has earned it as one of the top risers in his class. Training, offseason performances, looks good with working good Mechanics & Footwork Sequencing.
Neimann Lawrence Neimann Lawrence 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Ransom Everglades | 2028 FL | QB | 2028 | @NEIMANAWRENCE1
Myles McDonald Myles McDonald QB Zephyrhills Christian Academy | 2027 FL | QB | 2027 | Zephyrhills Christian | @813_mcdonald
The Southpaw lefty made his way from the Sunshine State to compete with some of the best in the country this weekend on the DR7 circuit. I’ve had the chance to watch this kid develop over the last couple of years. McDonald has all the tools to make a case for one of the top QBs in the Class of 2027. The natural lefty zips the ball around with a strong lower base and good footwork mechanics. He has plenty of time to grow and master the position. McDonald has had an impressive off-season and will look to take that momentum into the spring camp season.
Landon Doughtery | QB | 2027 | Gadsden County | @landodougherty
A premier 2027 QB prospect in the North Florida area has earned the deserved attention as he recently got his first Power 4 offer from Duke University. The 6’5, 185-pounder is poised to develop into a national recruit after sharing reps in his freshman season. Solid footwork mechanics and a big arm is what I’ve noticed when watching his film. Have to get eyes on this young riser during the camp or 7v7 period.
Brycen Marbrey Brycen Marbrey 6'0" | 155 lbs | QB FL | QB | 2028 | @BrycenQB1
Another top QB standout who has shown off confidence and ability to deliver in tough situations. He and 2028 Blake McCullough have switched back and forth throughout games playing for Gridiron Elite. Marbrey has displayed good accuracy and ball placement this off-season. Keep an eye on his overall progression heading into high school.
Best of the Rest:

Blake McCullough | QB | 2028 | Bishop Moore | @blake_mcc3
Joe Aicher Joe Aicher 6'1" | 155 lbs | QB FL | QB | 2028 | @AicherJoe
