About Neimann
Expert Analysis
Charles Wallace | Prep Redzone Scout
Neimann Lawrence is a standout quarterback whose exceptional ability to throw a stunning deep ball with just the right amount of touch is unparalleled. He has a natural talent for reading defenses that sets him apart from his peers. Lawrence’s work ethic and dedication to the game have contributed to his success on the field, making him a true leader and role model for his teammates. Lawrence’s physical attributes are impressive, but his mental acuity and quick decision-making are what make him an elite quarterback. His ability to read defenses and anticipate where his receivers will be is uncanny, allowing him to make accurate throws even under pressure. One of Lawrence’s most impressive skills is his ability to throw a deep ball with touch. He has the arm strength to make long throws, but it is his finesse that sets him apart. With just a flick of his wrist, he can put the ball right where it needs to be, allowing his receivers to catch the ball in stride and gain valuable yards after the catch. Not only is Lawrence a standout on the field, but he is also a leader off the field. His humility, positive attitude, and work ethic have earned him the respect of both his teammates and opponents. His commitment to his team and his sport is a true inspiration to others.

Neiman Lawrence led Ransom Everglades to an 8-1 record and has received offers from Nebraska and Miami so far. The 6’1 175 pound QB can straight up sling it. Lawrence has great pocket awareness and footwork and impressed me with his ability to roll out and make great throws. He is absolutely elusive in the pocket and looks like he could make things happen with his legs if he wanted to but he does a great job of keeping the play alive by making defenders miss and still using the great vision he has to find receivers down field. Lawrence does a great job with his accuracy and knowing what kind of ball to throw. Very impressed with what he’s done so far as only an 8th grader playing varsity level competition. Clearly the best Athlete in every game he’s played. Also played in the UA All America 8th grade game as well. No doubt he’s going to be a top QB in the state when it comes to his senior year.

is a dual sport stud. Nicknamed the “Air Show” he put on immediately in his first scrimmage of the year dressing out for the Ransom Everglades. Living up to his alias, Neimann went off for only a half of play totaling 314 yards and 4 touchdowns at the helm. During the off-season he secured his UA All-American invite at camp by showcasing his abilities. He checks off all the boxing and is most comfortable standing upright in the pocket with his 6’1 length. One of the many attributes that stands out for me is his timing and willingness to stand in the pocket, even when it’s collapsing to deliver the accurate throw.

An early contender for the top Quarterback in the class of 2028, Lawrence was selected to the UA Next game for his performance at camp. Listed at 6-foot and 160-pounds he’s an immediate attention-grabber when walking around at camps and 7v7. Played his regular season with the Plantation Wildcats and is a member of the South Florida Express. One of those youth prospects that is unanimously thought of as a future big time prospect.

Already standing 6-foot and 150-pounds, Lawrence is a South Florida quarterback prospect to start to get excited about right now. It’s not secret that Florida turns out elite football talent on every level, but the quarterback position is lacking a bit compared to others. There are certainly headliners like Lamar Jackson (Ravens), Teddy Bridgewater (Dolphins) and Geno Smith (Seattle), but Lawrence is attempting to position himself to be next. Out of those three Quarterbacks, I see his game comparing closest to Geno Smith. He’s a long-limbed kid who can certainly scramble a bit, but his success comes in the pocket. Operating almost primarily out of the shotgun, he’s very comfortable in the spread offense and does a great job of getting the ball out to his playmakers, quickly and accurately. Has earned the nickname “The Air Show” locally in Plantation, Florida…for good reason.
