At this showcase, the best talents from the area came together to show the fans what they’ve got. At this event, I saw many kids grow and new talents emerge. Let’s dive into this and meet the standout talents who lit up the turf at the 4 Verts Showcase.
Lane stole the spotlight at the 4 Vert Showcase, clocking a laser-timed 4.59 in the 40, leading with a 10-foot broad jump, and a 36-inch vertical. His performance on Saturday night showcased his readiness for a standout season. In a conversation, Lane’s excitement for the upcoming season was very evident. Tossing the ball with ease and accuracy on Saturday night, Lane was on fire. Scouts, keep an eye on Lane; his athletic achievements and passion this offseason signal a huge senior year!
Kendall Netters
Kendall Netters
Kendall Netters shined brightly as one of the RBs in this showcase. He displayed his skills as a route runner with notably quick feet. All my notes on this guy read “Fast,” “Quick,” “Speedster.” His ability to catch the ball was on full display Saturday night. Kendall set the bar with the fastest 40 time of the night, clocked at 4.53. His speed and potential make him a true offensive threat. His performance at the showcase established him as a player to watch this upcoming season. Netters is definitely a player to add to your Friday night radar.
Dawson continues to impress with each sighting, showcasing his elite pass-catching abilities and speed that stand out, even against some of the best pass-catchers in the area. His performances are consistently top-notch, demonstrating not only his talent but also a skill set that makes him shine in competitive settings. Dawson has consistently stepped up to the challenge and outshone his peers. With such a track record, Dawson’s Friday nights for his final high school season look incredibly promising.
Highlights
Back home and showing out, AJ solidified his status as a true WR1 with his performance Saturday evening. I was very impressed with his route-running ability. His agility on the field demonstrated not only his natural talent but also his dedication to becoming a great receiver. Jones showed his ability to create separation from defenders and make some tough contested catches. With AJ back home, he is undoubtedly a key asset to his team and adds a formidable force to the receiving corps in Washington.

- Amarii Scurlock Richwoods C/O 2026 RB: With great size and strong hands, expect a huge season from this running back.
- Brett Bane Tremont C/O 2026 QB : A quick-draw passer, he demonstrated the ability to fit the ball into tight windows.
- Dalton Oakman East Peoria C/O 2026 : Dalton was a very consistent passer on Saturday, showing improvement as the night progressed. His accuracy did not go unnoticed
- Aidin Hindert East Peoria C/O 2026 : The consistent pass catcher of the night, he made multiple one-handed snags on the sideline during 1v1 drills, which erupted the crow
The showcase on Saturday showed the amount of talent we have in the area, with all the athletes delivering a great performance. The atmosphere on Saturday night was competitive where all the young talents measured themselves against the best. With their performance they made it clear the local sports scene is thriving! We have athletes that are ready and eager to rise to the challenge!
