One of my favorite receivers from the class of 2025 has found his future home. At the conclusion of his prep career at Atlantic City High School, Sahnye Degraffenreidt Sahnye Degraffenreidt 6’1″ | 185 lbs | WR Atlantic City | 2025 State NJ will head straight up the Parkway to Exit 105 to catch route 18 as he will head to Rutgers University two seasons from now. In a brief video he posted to his Twitter, Degraffenreidt explains his decision.
The Piscatway Chiefs seem to be back in business. Arguably the best athlete on their squad, Jahai Johnson Jahai Johnson 6’0″ | 190 lbs | WR Piscataway | 2025 NJ announced this week that he picked up another offer. This one, his fourth, is from Merrimack College. Merrimack joins the list of suitors for Johnson, which also features New Hampshire, Maine, and Monmouth.
Who said youngsters cannot get in the mix too? Don Bosco’s 2027 defensive line prospect Aidan ‘ last=’O’Neil’] announced just yesterday that he received his first Division I offer. Currently on our Watch List, O’Neil was given a scholarship opportunity from Virginia Tech. With not yet completing his freshman year, more offers are sure to flood in for young O’Neil in short-order.
Merrimack College continued their canvassing of Middlesex County this week when they contacted North Brunswick High School. Their most recent target? Jahir Dawud Jahir Dawud 5’10” | 165 lbs | DB North Brunswick | 2025 NJ . Making the announcing on his Twitter, Dawud adds Merrimack to his offer sheet that also includes Maine, Colgate, Dartmouth, Cornell, and UPenn.
It was a big few week for Jacob Zamot Jacob Zamot 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB Millville | 2025 NJ . First, the quarterback announced that he was transferring to re-class at The Lawrenceville School. Soon after, the former Millville gunslinger received scholar athlete honors from the National Football Foundation; only on the next day to announce that he received an offer from Division I Akron. Big things happening for one of the biggest names in South Jersey.
