Camron Brooks Camron Brooks 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Thomas County Central | 2026 State GA – Thomas County Central
An impressive pass-rushing edge defender from South Georgia, Brooks has quickly become a national prospect and saw his recruitment take off earlier this winter. The offers are still rolling in for the dynamic 6-foot-4 225-pounder and another SEC offer came in this week from the Missouri Tigers. Ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 9 overall prospect and the No. 3 DL prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class, Brooks is coming off a monster sophomore season where he made 8.5 sacks and 12 TFLs. More importantly, he led Thomas County Central to a 6A state championship. His length and athleticism are easy to notice, and as he develops his craft and continues to grow at his position, Brooks has the potential to have a truly unstoppable junior season for the Yellow Jackets in 2024. Of course, look for more offers to come his way as well.
Zayden “Zeus” Walters – Brookwood
A breakout offensive line prospect on the rise in the peach-state, Walters is a mammoth 6-foot-4 320-pound sophomore who bullied opposing 7A defenders on a consistent basis last fall. He’s young, but he’s big, strong, and should be an outstanding left tackle for the Brookwood offense in 2024. He showed easy power five potential last fall, and the offers have come in bunches. Now, this promising lineman has earned a new offer from Penn State. He’s a dominant run defender due to his impressive leg strength, intensity, and balanced feet. He does his job, and he puts defenders on the ground consistently in the run game. If he continues to work on his pass protection, more offers are likely to continue coming his way. He’s an easy prospect on the rise who could be one of the very best across Gwinnett County this year.
Michael “Mike” Johnson – QB – Dutchtown
Once an “under the radar” quarterback in the Atlanta area, Johnson has started to see his recruitment pick up after a strong sophomore defenses where he consistently made big plays with both his arms and his legs. He brings good size and natural athleticism at 6-foot-1 180-pounds who loves to push the ball down the field. He commands the pocket well and shows quick, nimble feet when buying time in the pocket. He throws with impressive touch and timing down the field and will only get better as he continues to put on more muscle and mass over the next two seasons. There’s still plenty of development to do as a passer, but his speed and ability to hurt defenses with his legs make him one of the more dynamic quarterbacks south of Atlanta and across the 2026 class. The talent is easy to see, and that’s why Johnson has 10+ offers on the table. He earned a new one recently from the Purdue Boilermakers and more are likely on the way.
