DJ Bordeaux DJ Bordeaux 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Alpharetta | 2026 State GA – QB – Douglas County
A new quarterback in the Atlanta area to know about, Bordeaux is a transfer from Alpharetta who will lead a Tigers deep that made it deep into the 6A playoffs last year. A decent-sized quarterback with a live arm who take off and run, Bordeaux is a 6-foot-3 185-pound Colorado native who is coming off a strong sophomore season for the Raiders where he threw for 2,466 yards and 26 touchdown passes. He’s an easy D1 talent who throws an excellent deep down the field. He shows good feet in the pocket, can buy time, and throws the ball accurately to all points of the field. He has an incredibly bright future ahead of him and earned a new offer this week from Illinois. He also holds offers from Penn State, Colorado, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s a candidate to have a monster 2024 season with his new squad that will have several D1-caliber weapons around him. He’s ranked as the No. 28 overall prospect in the state according to Prep Redzone.
Maurice “Lae” Gleaton Jr – Langston Hughes
A speedy, electric wideout from Atlanta out of Langston Hughes, Gleaton Jr. only played in three games last fall, his track-star speed was on full display. The 5-foot-10 170-pounder ran a blazing 10.14 in the 100-meter in the spring of 2023 and it’s helped him reel in several impressive D1 offers. Now, he has another one from Miami (OH). In addition his outstanding 100-meter time, he also came in 1st place in the 200 meter at the Nike Outdoor Nationals last year with an incredible time of 20.52. When he has the ball, he’s always a threat to score. He’s a vertical weapon down the field but he can also make defenders miss in space. He can line up in the slot or on the outside, but if he’s in single coverage deep down the field, he’s a major weapon. If he ca stay healthy and keep improving as a route-runner, this Langston Hughes standout should have a giant senior season in 2024.
Roscoe Hayes Roscoe Hayes 6'3" | 155 lbs | WR Westlake | 2027 State GA – Westlake
He may be young, but this 2027 receiver from Westlake in South Fulton is a sure-handed pass-catcher to know about for the 2024 season. While the Lions are stacked at wideout, look for Hayes, who brings a long frame and excellent ball skills, to see an opportunity to make a big impact as a sophomore this fall. A multi-sport star, D1 colleges are already reaching out to Hayes, who earned his 2nd D1 offer this week from Miami (OH). More offers are likely to come his way as you just don’t see many athletes with Hayes’ size and ball skills. He can win contested jump-balls and was a major target in the red zone throughout his middle school and FBU career. If he continues to work hard, develop his craft, and add more mass and muscle, Hayes could see his offer list take off sooner than later.
