Harris showed his dynamic versatility earning MVP of the RB group and top performer honors among the WRs. He’s a quick, compact athlete at 5’7″/155 with the twitch and agility to separate as a route-runner and make defenders miss with the ball in his hands. He showed speed running in the low 4.4s in both of his 40s and finished among the top of each testing category among both the RB and WR groups. Harris’ offensive versatility should prove valuable to a Helix offense looking to replace the production and playmaking of one of the top RBs in the county last season- Kevin Allen Kevin Allen 5’11” | 185 lbs | RB Helix | 2024 State CA III. Harris offers potential to be a breakout senior in San Diego this fall.
Flores showed his versatility working out with the RBs on Sunday after working with the DBs at January’s showcase. He showed good footwork and ability to generate power through his low, compact pad level during individual drills. His playmaking ability shows up on film where he can get downhill behind his pads and generate force that’s difficult to corral in space. Flores should draw plenty of opportunities to showcase his ability out of the backfield for the defending D-2AA state champions this fall with the graduation of last season’s top four leading rushers including Colorado St. signee- Owen Long Owen Long 6’1″ | 190 lbs | DB La Serna | 2024 State CA – but Flores might offer his highest upside as a physical S/LB with a strong coverage skillset at the next level.
Highlights
Marley Aguilar
Marley Aguilar
Aguilar’s a young athlete that was coachable and got better throughout the day. He’s still growing into his body and developing his fundamental footwork but he flashes some raw athleticism as a playmaker. Aguilar’s main focus will be continuing to develop and improve until his time on varsity comes.
