The #1 player in Arizona chose Oregon over his other top two- Arizona State and Oklahoma. Perry’s recruitment has been a fun one to follow, as he exploded onto the scene in 2022 for NDP, looking like a legit cheat code every time he touched the ball which ultimately earned him around 26 offers. Now that the #1 player is off the boards, you can’t help but wonder who will be next. There’s tons of talent all across this 2025 class that are loaded up with offers, and have links to certain programs for a variety of reasons (relationships, former teammates, etc..). Although there’s plenty of time left to make a decision, here are a few guys I would keep an eye on for things to get rolling pretty quick now:
Jamar Beal Jamar Beal 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Desert Edge | 2025 State AZ , DB, Desert Edge ’25
Offers: Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, Utah, UCLA, USC, Oregon, Texas A&M, Cal, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Michigan State, Boston College, San Diego State, Nevada, UNLV
Beal’s recruitment caught fire this winter, bringing his offer total up to 17. He’s a lockdown DB that will excel at any responsibility thrown at him, and possesses all the physical intangibles to be an eventual multi year starter at the next level, barring he continues on the same trajectory which I’m sure he will. He has not announced a “top list” yet, but there are a handful of schools that stick out to me. Kansas could be a big one to watch, as they grabbed his C/O ’24 teammates Deshawn Warner Deshawn Warner 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Desert Edge | 2024 State AZ and Aundre Gibson Aundre Gibson 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Desert Edge | 2024 State AZ . Warner has been putting that recruiting hat on lately on X, signaling for Beal to run it back with the Desert Edge boys at KU. Both Arizona State and Arizona have hit the state hard and could both be contenders, especially with the presence of former AZHSFB standout Cole Martin now at ASU as well. Washington and Oregon are also ones that stick out to me due to their AZ pipeline. Whenever and wherever Beal’s chooses, expect the state to be buzzing as he’ll be a huge addition to any program that can win him over.
Logan Powell Logan Powell 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Brophy | 2025 State AZ , OL, Brophy ’25
Offers: Alabama, Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, USC, Utah, Oklahoma, Florida State, Boston College, Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue, Nebraska, Kansas State, Minnesota, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M
Powell holds 21 total offers thus far and I believe a commitment is coming relatively soon for this 6’5″ 280lb bully up front. Alabama really sticks out to me, as not only does Powell look and possess SEC caliber traits, but also seemed to have a good relationship with the previous Washington staff. His recruitment sparked up big in the winter as he picked up 10 of those 21 offers in that timespan, along with posting a “where’s home” edit on X.
Rylon Dillard-Allen Rylon Dillard-Allen 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Mountain Pointe | 2025 State AZ , DB, Mountain Pointe ’25
Offers: Arizona State, Nebraska, Washington, UCLA, USC, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado State, Nevada
Another kid who exploded onto the scene this season and has earned every bit of praise, attention, and offers that continue to come his way. A true game changer in the secondary that is a OC’s nightmare to gameplan against. The fly around DB holds a total of 12 offers thus far and announced he will be taking his 6 visits this spring/summer to Arizona State, Nebraska, Washington, UCLA, USC, and Kansas. A flat out raw athlete that possesses elite top end speed and pursuit with excellent instincts. He still has much room to add mass as well sizing up at 6’0″ 165lbs, and projects to continue to develop into a very dangerous player.
Other potential players to look for a commitment from this spring/early summer:
Garrett Martin Garrett Martin 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Saguaro | 2025 State AZ , DL, Saguaro ’25
Toby Mealer Toby Mealer 6'5" | 355 lbs | OL Hamilton | 2025 State AZ , OL, Hamilton ’25
Dajon Hinton Dajon Hinton 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Saguaro | 2025 State AZ , DB, Saguaro ’25
Luke Haugo Luke Haugo 6'5" | 210 lbs | QB Higley | 2025 State AZ , QB, Higley ’25
