’25 QB | Seth Sendry Seth Sendry 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB Cass Tech | 2025 MI | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 6’0″ W: 173
Seth’s film is a very pleasant surprise. Look, I know he wasn’t QB1 for Cass Tech this past season. Although he wasn’t out there every snap, his Junior season film shows some high-level QB play for a high schooler. As a pro-style quarterback, Seth does a great job standing strong in the pocket and getting the ball out on time. He also seems to do a good job at spreading the ball out and reading the defense. It’s hard to get a full read with his highlight tape, but Seth is definitely worth a close look this offseason.
’25 T | Tahsaan Lunn | Detroit MLK | Twitter
H: 6’4″ W: ?
Lunn is a super interesting and high-upside offensive tackle. Although his film is short, he shows a lot of upside. First off, his size looks great as he’s 6’4″ and looks to have long arms. He’s powerful enough to shove most defensive linemen away for easy pancakes. If he gets hands on you in stride, you’re done. He’s also done well against good competition, like the playoff game against Mason. He’s an offensive lineman to watch closely in the future.
’26 LB | Braxton Weems Braxton Weems 5'10" | 160 lbs | LB Cass Tech | 2026 MI | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 5’10” W: 180
Braxton did well as a Sophomore on Varsity last season. Next season, he has an opportunity to earn more playing time and a larger role. His current tape shows a good foundation as an off-ball outside linebacker. He reacts to the run decently and makes tackles when he’s called upon to do so. He can work through blocks, and has good pursuit. Braxton needs to work on his overall reactivity and IQ, but if he puts in the work this offseason, he could be a starter for a State Championship defense.
’26 WR | Deonte Ellington | Detroit MLK | Twitter
H: 5’8″ W:?
Deonte is another receiver who had himself a decently productive varsity season as a sophomore. He was a good possession receiver last season who caught a handful of balls. His route running is decent, has solid athletic ability, and overall does his job very well. In order for Deonte to earn a ton of college attention, he’ll have to improve his athleticism, route running, and RAC.
’26 TE | Brian Stovall Jr | Cass Tech | Twitter
H: 6’3″ W: 215
Brian is a good in-line tight end and defensive end who could get some recruiting attention in the coming year. He can do it all as a Tight End. His blocking is sound, and he’s willing to initiate contact and move people in the run game. In the passing game, he’s able to get open and be a possession target. However, he needs to work on his routes and abilities after the catch. He also has great physicality and motor as a defensive end. He could receive offers for either position in the future!
’26 RB | Joshua Rogers Joshua Rogers RB Detroit King | 2026 MI | Detroit MLK | Twitter
H: ? W: ?
Joshua has some good film as a sophomore running back. You aren’t going to see the home-run hitting runs, but you will see good versatility, physicality, and blocking. First off, he has more blocking highlights than any running back I could ever remember. He’s skilled at picking up blitzes and giving the QB a couple more seconds to throw the football. Joshua also does a good job at keeping his feet moving through contact. If he improves his athleticism and contact balance a bit more, he could break out next season.
’25 DE | DJ Williams DJ Williams 6'2" | 230 lbs | DL Renaissance | 2025 MI | Renaissance | Twitter
H: 6’2″ W: 230
DJ is a raw but promising defensive lineman. Over the years, we’ve seen some solid talent come out of Renaissance, and DJ is one of those guys. Lining up all over the defensive line, he does a great job at staying patient, anchoring himself, and making a tackle as the ballcarrier attempts to run by. He’s still a pretty raw prospect and needs to work on his explosiveness and block shedding, but the foundation is there.
