Film Room: Spring Evaluations Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this series, I'm going to be deep diving film on a bunch of prospects that I have either never evaluated, or evaluated a long time ago, and it's time for a refresh! He's a basketball player as well, so his agility is definitely being worked on and improved, which is encouraging. He seems to thrive in the run, and he does a great job of tossing guys that try to go around him. Going forward I would like to see him develop a few more tools to negate pass rushers, but I think getting out to some summer camps and being coached up by various coaches could really help him there. Offense is where he truly shines, as he does a great job of hitting tiny creases to spring for big yardage. He breaks arm tackles and weak attempts, but he also has the jets and lateral movement to be elusive. Whether it be on the ground or through the air, Barrett stresses defenses out and has to be accounted for. I hope to see him continue to work in the weight room, but I think regardless of how much weight he puts on, he is a really solid prospect worth keeping an eye out for this fall in his final high school season.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1148721"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"It appears through his film that Terrance is someone North Farmington wants to get the ball to no matter what. He's shown nice ability to run clean routes out wide, and he has the concentration to come down with some difficult grabs. He also takes snaps from the QB position, and he is down right deadly on the ground. He is shifty and can make guys miss in a phone booth to get to the next level. When plays break down he has the innate ability to go against the grain and get the edge while the flow of the play is going the opposite way. I think overall this could be a great utility guy on offense to line up out wide, at the running back spot, or go Wildcat. Coaches should absolutely have him on their board at least.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1143176"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Billy is definitely a big surprise to me that I didn't know more about him.  Regularly lined up against some elite receivers, he does a great job of sticking with his guys and playing the ball. He has active hands, and does a great job of reading the receiver. Also, when he makes a tackle he has a great wrap and punch technique that knocks some balls loose. He's speedy and has some good size, though I would like to see him add a few pounds over the offseason, just to sure up his physicality down in the red zone. [player_tooltip player_id='1217545' first='Antonio' last='Sobush'] is a super good utility player that is used in motion, in the backfield, and split out. I'm a huge fan of his vision and ability to make guys miss, and his explosiveness when he finds a small gap. Any open green grass is going to be utilized for more yardage. He runs hard and falls forward and spins for extra yards, and I really like how quickly he makes decisions. He displays solid hands in a couple highlights where he gets the defender on his back and boxes them out.
