Long and athletic frame with good strength. Explosive edge rusher that has such easy acceleration getting up field. Won off the snap over and over against tackles all day long. The explosive pass rusher also has the strength to use his bull rush as well which he showcased. Can also slide down and play some three technique when needed. Power 4 guy for sure!
Taylor spoke about leading his team to the win at the event.
“I would say the camp went well. I felt we could have been a little more discipline as a team not giving up offsides penalties. Other small stuff that made the game closer than it should have been. We should have worked the tournament.”
What are the biggest areas he feels he excels as a pass rusher?
“Working with my hands and getting around the person in front of me with my speed. Hands and speed is a dangerous combo.”
Recruiting is starting to pick up for Taylor. Recently took a trip to Michigan State.
“I really liked their campus and coaches. They talked to me and made it sound promising as to what they can do that would benefit me.”
He has more trips planned in the near future.
“I am looking to visit Indiana. I have visits to Illinois and Northwestern coming up.”
The offers are starting to fly in for the Kenwood pass rusher.
“I have five of them from Georgia Tech, Toledo, Indiana, Cincinnati, and Eastern Illinois.”
Anyone above the pack at this point?
“Schools standing out are Indiana and Georgia Tech.”
He spoke further on Georgia Tech
“I really like their scenery down there and their coach sounded pretty promising talking to him giving me consistent support reaching out.”
Indiana has made an impression on him as well.
“Coach Buddha (Williams) that is my guy. He is a real dude. Some of their ideals they emphasised on at their practices I feel like I can replicate that in my game and that will better me.”
Illinois is another school in the mix for his services.
“I like their school and it is close to home. The coach that was recruiting me went to the NFL, but I am still getting my connection with them and going on a visit down there.
