Damon Hibbert Damon Hibbert 5’9″ | 165 lbs | RB Taft | 2027 State NewE is a 5’9 165 RB who attends Taft School In Connecticut. His name was brought to my attention during fall 2023 while performing at Notre Dame Catholic High School Fairfield, CT. He is an athlete with a skill set that can be used on defense or offense. He is being recognized in our rankings as a RB but make no mistake, he can play WR and DB also. His RB skill set shines as a tough runner who can deliver a tough and effective stiff arm to any defender wishing to tackle him. Has 1 step juke ability and a physical presence when running the ball.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Hibbert” was graded out as a potential Div 1 prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #17 prospect and the # 3 RB in the class of 2027
Highlights
Benjamin Holtschlag Benjamin Holtschlag 6’2″ | 195 lbs | WR Milton Academy | 2027 State NewE is 6’2″ 195 lbs WR/LB who attends Milton Academy in. Massachusetts. Has an older brother Jake Holschlag that also attended Milton Academy and played QB for the Mustangs team and is now at Georgetown Univ. He is known for his hard work ethic and continues to put in the work to get to the next level. He is also a lacrosse athlete. What I have seen and like about Jake is his consistent physical presence when on the field and a desire to be an effective blocker on the perimeter. He wasn’t targeted much during fall 2023 season with the seniors ahead of him. However, he posses very soft reliable hands and can pluck the ball from the air when needed. I expect he will have a break out season on offense in fall 2024.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Holtschlag” was graded out as a potential Div 1 prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #20 prospect and the # 4 WR in the class of 2027
Brady Scott Brady Scott 6’0″ | 190 lbs | ATH Lawrence Academy | 2027 State NewE defines motor, athlete, and being skilled. He earned the starting positions of wide receiver and defensive back for a strong NEPSAC Program; Lawrence Academy, in his fall 2023 debut. He is fluid skilled athlete who adapts to being versatile and effective no matter where he plays on the field. He is versatile and also has returning skills that will likely be called upon during his varsity career more often moving forward. I enjoyed viewing his film as many college coaches will also. His field awareness and instincts are of higher level and can’t go unnoticed.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Scott” was graded out as a potential Div 1 prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #13 prospect and the # 1 Athlete in the class of 2027

Sam Surgento Sam Surgento 5’10” | 190 lbs | ATH St. Mark’s | 2027 State NewE is a versatile athlete with a very good defensive and offensive skill set. On offense, he was positioned as Wr/slot/RB. He is willing and delivers effective blocks on the perimeter and as a Rb he gets downhill and uses power in his lower body with a effective stiff arm, to break tackles. On defense, he defends the edge effectively and reacts quickly with good pursuit angles to chase down ball carriers. He performed at a high level and with confidence his first season at the varsity level. Its rare that a freshman is used in such a way “Surgento” was used in his first year playing in high school. A great indication of a future college player.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Surgento” was graded out as a potential Div 1 prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #14 prospect and the # 2 Athlete in the class of 2027

Sebastian Lora Sebastian Lora 5’10” | 150 lbs | WR Bishop Hendricken | 2027 State NewE is a prospect we have written about multiple times. His skill set flashes high level athleticism along with excellent ball skills. At 5’10 155, I suspect he will battle college coaches eye test at the Div 1 level. However, he posses the speed required for Div 1 wide receivers. He ran a verified 4.58 40 time in summer 2023 at Uconn camp as a rising freshmen. His performance caught the attention of Uconn coaches after the camp. The word i’m getting from area high school coaches is he has grown and appears to be on track to open additional eyes on the college camp circuit this summer 2023. Lora is very active on the showcase and 7v7 circuit. He attends many competitive events and always finds his way to the MVP award or Top performing awards at camps. His skill set can’t be ignored and I expect he will earn additional college interest and possibly his 1st offer this spring/summer 2024.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Lora” was graded out as a potential Div 1 prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #16 prospect and the # 3 WR in the class of 2027.
