Fall camp is right around the corner and before we know it teams will be hitting the gridiron to prepare for the 2024 season. In preparation for the season, I wanted to look at a few rising junior quarterbacks that have shown promise. All of these young men saw time at the varsity level as sophomores and are names to watch over the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='948097' first='Patrick' last='Greisen'] 6'3" 180, West De Pere

Deadly accurate, completing 71% of his passes last fall, throws well on the run, and has some juice in his wind-up. He's calm under duress, climbs the pocket searching for a target, and shows solid touch on throws of twenty yards plus.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220698' first='Blake' last='Firkus'] 6'3" 190, Oak Creek

Blake has good command of the offense, he can place the ball between two defenders and is consistently on-time on quick game concepts.

[player_tooltip player_id='402808' first='Caiden' last='Dessart'] 6'2" 180, Waterford

An athletic prospect that can tuck it and pick up yards on the ground. This young man is a highly productive runner between the tackles, he's patient inside the pocket allowing concepts to develop, and is quite slippery behind the line of scrimmage.

Cal Moreau, 6'3" 185, Monona Grove

Cal had great production as a sophomore throwing for 2,123 yards and 30 total touchdowns. On tape, he can get the ball out of his hand quickly against pressure, he's extremely creative when buying time, and is a feathery deep ball thrower.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220679' first='Peyton' last='Powers'] 6'3" 175, Columbus

Peyton knows how to take some muscle off touch throws, he plays with a relaxed confidence and is willing to sit in the pocket & take a shot from an unblocked defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='700017' first='Brayln' last='Albritton'] 6'3" 170, Milwaukee Academy of Science

An explosive/elusive prospect who can make you pay if you miss him behind the line of scrimmage. Brayln is a fun watch on tape, dazzling on off-platform throws and using his arm talent to stretch the field vertically.

[player_tooltip player_id='700015' first='AJ' last='Seymour'] 6'4" 215, Brookfield Central

A strong-armed prospect who plays with a gunslinger mentality and isn't afraid to add physicality as a runner. He's got good size & speed and is still developing from a mechanical standpoint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220684' first='Brock' last='Matheny'] 6'4" 180, Grantsburg

A long, but slender prospect with athleticism, outstanding timing, the ability to add zip when needed, and has natural touch on vertical throws.
