QB1 for the Lake Braddock Bruins was Michael Suris Michael Suris 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Lake Braddock | 2025 State VA and boy did he come along really well as the season progressed. The signal caller for one of the best teams in the state Suris made the leap last fall. A dual threat passer the young man has a 3.9 GPA and is capable of playing at least division 2 football in 2025. I expect his name to continue to soar as Lake Braddock prepares for a potential state title run.

Battlefield will be one of the top teams in Class 6 next season and running back Sage Davis Sage Davis 5’8″ | 175 lbs | RB Battlefield | 2025 State VA is a big reason why. Nearly topping 1,000 on the ground as a junior Davis is starting to get more attention from colleges that he has rightfully earned. A quick back with good vision running track this spring for the Bobcats is only going to benefit him next season. Averaging 6.5 yards per carry Battlefield’s offense is sure going to fun to watch with him and junior quarterback Calum O’Shea Calum O’Shea 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Battlefield | 2026 State VA leading the way.

Forest Park will be well represented in our new rankings and workhorse running back Landon Hunt Landon Hunt 5’10” | 210 lbs | RB Forest Park | 2025 State VA stock is rising with the Bruins. The first back to go over 1,000 yards rushing last year, the rising senior is an FCS level talent. He has yet to receive a formal offer but schools such as Mercer College, VMI and Davidson have him high on their radar, he is the type of player that can carry your squad to the playoffs.
