Thankfully, Lease made his highlight tape from last season in time for our 2025 Spring rankings update and debuts as the #10 OL prospect in the class and just outside the Top 50. His best football days are ahead of him as he's still very raw but has a ton of upside and potential as an offensive tackle. His combination of length and athleticism is a rare mix that doesn't come around often and could be a hidden gem ready to be discovered. Lease could also end up playing on the defensive line at the next level where he also has potential, but you can picture him eventually being a 6'6 300+ offensive tackle in college who may develop into a high-caliber player with further development in college. If he has a strong senior season, I think a D1 program should take him as a project who likely will see the fruits of their labor one day.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1226809"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"There must be something in the water out in Ridgeley, WV with long and athletic linemen as the second Frankfort Falcon makes his debut in the 2025 rankings as the #9 DL and Top 65 prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='1226809' first='Caden' last='Whitacre']. He has a small 4-game sample size of highlights available right now but the 6'5 225 big man flashed some serious potential and upside as a defensive line prospect. Whitacre could also end up being in a similar situation as teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1126400' first='Lane' last='Lease'] as lanky offensive linemen who bulk up and become a high-level offensive tackles in the future, but Whitacre will debut as a DL in the rankings for now. I'm very excited to see him at our upcoming Combine camp in early May to get eyes on him in person to see how he fairs at both positions and get a better gauge of his talent and potential. To speak to his level of athleticism, Whitacre plays guard in their Wing-T system at his height and weight and proves how athletic and nimble he is while also having the strength to be able to pull and move heavier defenders. The bulk of his limited highlights are at OL, but with his length and athleticism, I think Whitacre best fits as a DL prospect for now while his weight catches up to his height.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1226810"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Another defensive lineman with a small sample size of highlights available but flashed a lot of potential is Bridgeport's [player_tooltip player_id='1226810' first='Bear' last='Metheney']. Metheney will be a two-way standout on both sides of their line in 2024 and could be considered a DT or OG prospect. For now, he'll debut in our 2025 rankings as the #10 defensive lineman and a prospect we'll be watching closely next season for more film to warrant the high praise. He showed enough in his limited highlights where you can see what he can become and should be able to take the next step in his development with another year in the Bridgeport system and program. Metheney is a two-sport athlete who doubles as a thrower on the track u0026amp; field team and showed quality physical strength on film that will only get stronger over the off-season. I thought he also moved well for his size and played until the whistle while showing a lot of hustle and good pursuit. We'll get a better gauge of his talent once more film is available, but he's certainly a prospect to know and watch next season.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["908622"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Another Watch List offensive line prospect we recently spotlighted was Nitro's [player_tooltip player_id='908622' first='Dom' last='Wise']. Wise previously had a position ranking of 24 but saw a big increase after posting his junior highlight tape and is now up to the #11 OL and 68th overall. Wise is a mauling guard with next-level physicality and strength who was dominant in the run game for the Wildcats last season but also gets plenty of pass pro reps in their scheme too. Updated measurements also benefitted Wise as he posts a 45-pound increase since the previous measurements we had for him and is now listed at 6'3 305. He showed enough athletic ability and agility to pair with his size and strength to warrant a big increase in the rankings and will likely finish inside the Top 15 of the final rankings in December with another strong season this fall.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["908112"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"We've been waiting a long time to see any kind of film on Cabell Midland TE [player_tooltip player_id='908112' first='Logan' last='Gillispie'] and were finally able to evaluate some before the 2025 Spring rankings update dropped. Although they were very limited, there was enough there to be able to finally get him ranked and get a little bit of an idea of his game to pair with his elite size. Listed at 6'7 240, athletes his size certainly aren't readily available which will get him a lot of college looks alone. I expect his role to grow in 2024 for his senior season and Gillispie is a prospect who could make a huge jump in the rankings over the final two updates. Which position he eventually ends up at is another question mark and is something to watch next season too. He'll debut as a TE due to his size but could also grow into an offensive tackle and sees time at defensive end too. Gillispie also plays lacrosse so you know he has to have athletic ability and can run to play that sport at his size too. He took a recent visit to Ohio University and will have D1 programs interested given how high his upside and potential are at a program approaching double-digit D1 prospects at Cabell Midland. If he gets out to some college camps this summer he may earn some offers off those performances alone while his film waits to catch up.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660c5190967e1"} /-->
