We added over 125 new student athletes to the 2025 rankings, so we are back to look at another group of those new additions. The tape impressed us during the updates. Let’s go back and see exactly what stood out and led to strong debuts in the rankings. This is another strong group of athletes to get on your radars now rather than later. Let’s get into it!
Josh debuts inside the Top 100 in this deep Class of recruits. The 6′ 180 lbs ATH plays both ways for Port Washington. After clicking on the tape it quickly became clear what his top trait was. Short area explosion. It jumps off the tape after the catch, shaking defenders out of their cleats, and in his route running where he is able to burst out of breaks and open up separation from DBs. The junior also possesses the long speed to take the top off the defense. Lastly, Josh has reliable hands that you can trust to fight through contact to secure the ball. I’m excited to see the testing results at camps this summer.

Another new member of the Top 100 is Racine Case DL Terrell Mcrae Terrell Mcrae 6’4″ | 270 lbs | DL Racine Case | 2025 State WI . He is also knocking on the door of the Top 10 at his position. Terrell has the length and size needed to hang on the interior of the trenches. His frame looks to have room to continue to add strength as he gets in to a college weight room. On tape, we see the big man flash impressive traits. The strength to hold the line shows up play to play. He is able to take on blocks and uses his length to create separation so he can disengage with a hand fighting move or flash the lateral agility. McRae is quick to feel the flow of the OL and will fight across blocks to get to the gap that the RB is aiming for. We also see that Terrell can play with leverage and get that big frame underneath his opponent. That excites me because I think he can play with that low pad level even more consistently, and that is only going to make him more dominant. This Racine Case is looking like a talented bunch over the next couple years. Get out there and check out the DL and his teammates.

The junior LB out of Brookfield Central will need time to fill out his frame at the next level, but the tape shows an LB with traits that could make him a future three down LB at the next level. The tape starts off with multiple examples of how natural of an athlete he is in space. We see him drop in coverage, change direction after reading the QB, and an effective closing burst. That short area agility and range is key to being an option on third downs. Aaron also has that old school LB physicality too. He has solid instincts, triggering downhill quickly when he reads run. Marek mirrors the back and flows with the play, filling the target gap and making a sound tackle. Keep an eye on the well rounded prospect this year.
The 6’5″ 270 lbs junior OT has been a very effective run blocker thus far in his career. The massive OT is able to create a big push in the trenches with his size and power. He can crash his opponent down the line or drive them straight off the ball and always tries to finish his block to the ground. Rey does a good job of consistently getting his hands on his opponent so he can control them from the first initial punch. If Rey is able to develop more flexility in his knees, and ankles it will make I’m even more effective because the leverage advantage will be more on his side. The frame, power, and experience are there though. Check out the tape.

The reigning D1 State Champion DL is just scratching the surface on his future potential. He has an excellent frame that is long at 6’4″ and carries his 260 lbs very well. No doubt there is room to continue to grow at the next level. Despite that big frame, Cole is a very slippery DL to land a block on. His lateral agility shines throughout the tape, making it difficult for OL to stay square on him. Cole uses his hands to further create separation off the agility and then is able to burst through a gap to get behind the OL. Fischer is also quick off the ball. The size and athleticism are definite strengths to his game. If he can put in the work in the gym this offseason we could see him take another step in his development and a big jump in these rankings. This is a high ceiling prospect to keep an eye on.

I have become a big fan of Carter this offseason. The 6’5″ 200 lbs WR was a standout performer at the PRZ MN Showcase in December. Watching how competitive he was got me excited for his summer camp circuit and senior season. The big WR maximizes his catch radius with soft hands and the ability to attack the ball at the high point. Carter uses his big frame to create his separation, easily boxing out CBs and catching the ball away from his body. Carter also possesses the talent to be able to contort his body to get his hands on the ball wherever it is in his catch radius. I’m excited to see what he does this year after breaking onto our radar.

The 6′ 175 lbs safety already is knocking on the door of the Top 10 at his position, but this debut doesn’t look like his ceiling. Brad is a rangy safety who is smooth out of his backpedal when he attacks downhill. He is a very reliable last line of defense tackler. The tape shows an athlete who can go from 15 yards deep to the line of scrimmage and make the tackle. The junior has the talent to fly through the front seven while avoiding the trash that fills the front seven. It is great to see his aggressive play style agains the run. The speed is there to run with receivers in coverage too. Brad also has the awareness to find receivers breaking open, close on them, and deliver hits to jar the ball loose. Filippis could make a nice bump with a good summer of camp results. Don’t miss out on this kid.
