UPDATE: The Mavericks should rank among the state’s top 6A teams putting the spotlight on kids like Tanuvasa with D1 potential.
The 1st team all-Metro DB comes from a super talented family with his brother starting for BYU at LB the last few seasons. Madden has that type of potential.

UPDATE: Head coach Ian Reynoso started for the Ducks on the O line and knows what a D1 lineman looks like. He puts Sahlfeld in that conversation.
Sahlfeld is one of the top two-way lineman in the state, impressing on the defensive side of the ball before getting injured in week 6. He is a 2x all conference athlete, who will be in the mix for Pacific Conference lineman of the year honors next season, likely projecting at the FCS level.
28. Danny Wideman Danny Wideman 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2025 State OR 5-10 175 ATH West Linn
UPDATE: Few people put up better numbers than Wideman last season, and he will likely remain a favorite target for QB Baird Gilroy Baird Gilroy 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB West Linn | 2025 State OR , which will help him continue to thrive statistically.

UPDATE: Rague is an ultra-competitive athlete showing flashes of being one of the best in Oregon at the 6A level. If he can put it all together next season, he could be just that.
Last year’s Oregon 3A POY made the transfer to South and had a good year. He split time at the RB spot, carrying the ball 70 times for 460+ yards during the regular season. He will likely project at Safety where he had 2 INTs.

37. Kellen Hicks Kellen Hicks 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Mountainside | 2025 State OR 6-1 175 S Mountainside
UPDATE: I could see Hicks being the Metro League’s Defensive POY. He is one of the fastest rising athletes in Oregon and a potential top 25 recruit.
Hicks was a 1st team all-league kid and could jump up this list quick with continued progression. Statistically he was dominant, finishing among the state leaders in INTs with 5 and adding 58 total tackles. Just a very good overall athlete.
38. Kainoa Hayes Kainoa Hayes 6'2" | 250 lbs | DL Central Catholic | 2025 State OR 6-2 250 DT Central Catholic

Definitely one of the most versatile lineman in the state. Aguilar totaled 7 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, and 33 QB pressures. North played subpar competition all year so it will be important for Aguilar to continue and impress against the region’s best on the camp circuit.
40. Dominic Macon Dominic Macon 6'3" | 295 lbs | DL Nelson | 2025 State OR 6-3 290 DT Nelson

UPDATE: There is still a lot yet to be determined here but Kane has one of the highest ceilings of any athlete in his class at 6-5. The Beavers will lean heavy on him this year.
Kane is long and super talented but still somewhat raw. He has the frame to put on some significant size and could be a good college athlete. He earned 2nd team all-Metro honors for a Beavers team that struggled, making the accolades that much more impressive.
42. Jacob Thayer Jacob Thayer 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB La Salle | 2025 State OR 6-1 215 LB La Salle

UPDATE: The T-Wolves graduated a D1 perimeter so Smith is a welcome addition at Tualatin. As mentioned, Keeney is one of the fastest rising QB’s in the West and Malik could thrive because of that.
Smith recently made the move from Glencoe to Tualatin. He had a breakout sophomore year for the Crimson Tide and followed that up with a 1st team all-conference season at WR. He will be a prime target for top QB Nolan Keeney Nolan Keeney 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB Tualatin | 2025 State OR next year while likely projecting on D.
