Max Brown Max Brown 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Jefferson | 2027 State GA – Jefferson
Easily one of the top young prospects across Georgia, Brown made an immediate impact last year as a defender, but with the Dragons needed new leading rushers next fall, look for brown to possibly get some carries next fall as a sophomore. He’s a tough, physical player who is familiar with running the ball, and he’s one of the better overall athletes on the roster already. Brown brings excellent size and good muscle for his age at 6-foot-1 210-pounds and he’s bound for another gigantic season at linebacker next fall. As a freshman last year, the impressive, instinctive defender made 43 tackles, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt. He plays hard, gives max effort, and already has opportunities to play at the power five level. He’s a fantastic overall athlete who should see his role improve both defensively, and offensively next year. He’s now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 1 LB prospect and the No. 5 overall prospect in the state. He’s bound for a massive sophomore season in 2024, and more offers are sure to come his way.
Andrew Beard Andrew Beard 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Lincoln County | 2027 GA – Prince Avenue Christian
An explosive runner on offense and a terrific young defender in the secondary, Beard is without a doubt one of the top 2027 prospects not only in Georgia, but across the country. A dynamic running back with strong hands out of the backfield, this speedy back rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns while averaging an impressive 7.1 yards per carry. Look for his touches to improve in a big way next year as a sophomore. The small-town playmaker also caught 13 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. However, his biggest impact came on defense. A natural, instinctive defender who doesn’t mind contact, Beard made an eye-opening 75 tackles as a freshman last year along with two INTs and one forced fumble. He also brings excellent size for his age at 5-foot-10 185-pounds. He’s a big-play machine with an incredibly high ceiling, and it’s led to an early offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. Now, he’s ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 3 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class.
Cole Crawford Cole Crawford 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Cartersville | 2027 State GA – Cartersville
An excellent overall athlete who can help in a number of different ways, Crawford is a big linebacker for his age at 6-foot-3 210-pounds who knows how to run and hit. He hunts the ball-carrier down defensively with enough athleticism to play both inside or outside. He brings a physical element to his game and already shows a high football IQ. He also shows the ability to catch and block as a hybrid tight end. Now, he holds offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, among others. A multi-sport star, Crawford is also a standout baseball player for the Purple Hurricanes. He was among the top freshman defenders in the state last year as he made 33 tackles, five TFLs and two sacks. On offense, Crawford caught five passes for 79 yards. If he continues to work hard and prove he can play both ways, look for this dynamic prospect to see more passes come his way on offense next year as he continues to play outstanding defense at linebacker. He’s ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 6 overall prospect in the state and more offers will likely come his way over the next two years.
