Continue ReadingSOUTH DAKOTA– We unleash our second to last Community Film in the month of March for South Dakota, and take a look at a new batch of prospects from all over the state of South Dakota. We feature three West River and two East River prospects that includes: scouting a 3rd brother from Wall since 2020, size and skillsets rising from an 11AAA powerhouse, West River 2025s with something to prove this summer, and more!
Bradley Esser Bradley Esser 6'3" | 195 lbs | DB Harrisburg | 2026 State SD , DB, Harrisburg (2026) Twitter
Bradley shows off impressive athleticism at strong safety, as a prospect that has seen excellent growth not just with his skillsets, but with his body type as well at now 6’3 190 pounds. Not only did the athleticism pop out, but I love how much length and range this young man can cover on the field as he shows it off from sideline to sideline. Bradley also shows of the long stamina I would want my defensive back to have at the college level. Certainly another prospect out of Harrisburg you will see playing on Saturdays.
Younger Amiotte, LB, Wall (2026) Twitter
The third Amiotte brother from Wall that we have scouted, is 6’0 175 pound Younger Amiotte a linebacker in the 2026 class. What first pops out on tape is his ball-tracking ability, as Younger has some solid upside to grow his footwork with his backpedal, but certainly plays with great instincts to take the ball out of the air or use his length to cause chaos with tight pass coverage around the pass-catcher. And do not think for a second like his brothers, that this kid can’t pack a punch as his physicality when progressing downhill is a hard-pressed gas pedal. With that gas pedal I saw on tape, you also will like the motor Younger plays with, as another prospect from Wall that should get a shot to play at the next-level in the furture.
Hunter Walters Hunter Walters 5'11" | 195 lbs | ATH Spearfish | 2025 State SD , ATH, Spearfish (2025) Twitter
Hunter is one of the fastest athletes the West River has to offer in this 2025 class in my eyes, as this young man has some excellent burst especially beyond the first level and has an outstanding finishing with the zest of his lower body. Not to mention I am intrigued with his field vision as Hunter shows a plethora of instincts at his disposal to turn one-cut into a touchdown real quick. He also shows off position flexibility on both sides of the ball. Hunter is one of a few West River 2025 targets that I am a firm believer have something to prove at college camps this summer as another surefire scholarship-level prospect.
Cole Ducheneaux, RB, Timber Lake (2025)
Off the radar to most, but not to the state of South Dakota, we find a 2025 running back prospect from Tucker Kraft’s hometown in Timber Lake, which is new name to our radar Cole Ducheneaux. This kid’s tape from a cut perspective might be raw, but from the cut perspective of watching this kid’s agility, that shows plenty of elusiveness and it is not just on the first cut either. Cole was a first team All-Conference running back as a junior and at 5’10 180, has a solid body type to be another small-school hidden gem, as this kid’s vision to get to the open field gauges plenty of separation as a North-South back. We got to get this young man on Twitter!
One of our favorite recent quarterback finds in South Dakota’s 2026 class is 6’4 195 pound Landon Wieman out of Parker, SD population just over 1200. Landon shows off impressive balance with his arm strength on all three levels of the field. He also shows off an impressive quick release and especially on intermedaite routes shows off the arm accuracy with his well-versed ball fits within a tight window. Light interest in his following so far, but I feel Landon will be one college coaches will want to know earlier not later.
