As always, we find even more small school gems to evaluate including a couple that are new to our radar or have posted new and intriguing tape since we last evaluated them. Find out what we found in NoDak below!
Dylan Bachmeier Dylan Bachmeier 6'1" | 260 lbs | OL Carrington | 2025 State ND , OL/DL, Carrington (2025) Twitter
A diamond in the rought prospect hailing from Carrington, is 6’1 260 pounder Dylan Bachmeier Dylan Bachmeier 6'1" | 260 lbs | OL Carrington | 2025 State ND who plays on both sides of the trenches for the Cardinals. I love this kid’s power at the point of attack with his violent hands, and that translates with balance on both sides of the ball. Dylan shows off well-versed pad level, and shows upside as a pull-blocker with his foot speed but still has a damaging punch consistently at the second level. I can tell that Dylan is a young man with a sound work-ethic that certainly looks like a scholarship-level prospect in my eyes.
Mason Mauch Mason Mauch 6'0" | 230 lbs | DL Hankinson | 2026 State ND , DL, Hankinson (2026) Twitter
The North Dakota State faithful will recognize this last name out of Hankinson, North Dakota as 6’0 230 pound Mason Mauch Mason Mauch 6'0" | 230 lbs | DL Hankinson | 2026 State ND checks into our Part III of the ND Community Film Room. Mason shows off an instinctive first step that just has a steady knack of clinging to the ball with his reactive vision in the defensive trenches. He also impresses me with his timing of when he sheds off his defender, as consistently on tape you see that timing come off on queue to the ball. Plenty of upside left to be seen
Chase Cooper, OL, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (2025)
A small-school hidden gem hailing from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood that is brand new to our radar is 6’2 280 pound offensive linemen Chase Cooper. Vicius is a great word to describe Chase at the point of attack, especially when he has downhill leverage at his disposal as a pull-blocker at left guard. He also excels with his combo blocking and angle blocking on tape. I believe there is some raw yet encouraging upside with his foot quickness on his pulls as I see Chase as another offensive line prospect on this list with a next=level future.
Colton Cruchet Colton Cruchet 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Central Cass | 2026 State ND , LB/DB, Central Cass (2026) Twitter
It’s no question I really like the 2026 class from the Central Cass Squirrels, but after watching Colton Cruchet Colton Cruchet 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Central Cass | 2026 State ND ‘s tape, I like it even more. This kid is a certified flyer to the ball at middle linebacker and he shows off significant range that is my eyes travels from sideline to sideline. I am intrigued how his football IQ and vision take shape, as he shows off versatility against the pass and stopping the run. Colton also has a great release with his agile hips, and I think in the coming years college coaches will see the defensive posistion flexibility he has at his disposal. Colton is one that plays massively bigger than his measurables as a field general that I certainly see growth of his body throughout the coming years. Great college football family pedigree with older brother Tyler committed to Division II Bemidji State.
Brock Norton Brock Norton 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB New Salem-Almont | 2025 State ND , RB, New Salem-Almont (2025) Twitter
Brock’s elusive twitch and sound durability around the edges of the football field is what draws up first to me on tape, as this young man plays with superb balance. At 5’10 185, pounds, I also like the body type he has already for the running back position. He shows tons of efficiency wiith just one cut inside or outside as his change of direction shows off plenty of instinct. I love the three-sport background Brock has with wrestling which again, shows off durability in my eyes on tape, and track which also checks out with Brock, that he is a running back that finishes his runs with fluidity. Excited to watch this young man at camps this summer.
