There is a lot of talent amongst this group of offensive linemen and they are all intriguing prospects for different reasons. Some size, some athleticism, some fundamentals, or even a mixture of all three.

Carr, who has great size at 6’5 315lbs wears a lot of his weight in his upper body. Carr bends well as displayed when he shifts inside and plays center. He has smooth quick feet out of his stance, he can pull and be a lead blocker in space with the type of movement he displays on film. Carr has an explosive punch and can knock guys around on initial contact with consistency. His best ability is moving defenders, his size and the power he generates from a strong upper body help him push defensive linemen around. Carr also plays defense as a defensive tackle and showcases high-motor and violent hands. Carr will surely be someone on the rise in the next rankings update.

Weldon may be smaller for a tackle but what he lacks in size he makes up for in his fundamentals and physicality as a blocker. Weldon has good length and does a really good job of utilizing his reach to punch defenders inside the shoulders. Weldon moves extremely well, he can get to the second level with quick feet showing explosiveness out of his stance. Weldon is violent at the point of attack, which is my favorite thing about his tape. There are the occasional times where he lounges or puts his head down but when he keeps his head up he can move guys around. In pass pro, Weldon shows a solid anchor and hands.

Tassone is one of the highest ranked OL in Canada for a reason. At 6’3 350lbs Tassone is massive. He plays with a great motor and a nasty mauling style of blocking. He consistently brings guys to the ground, he plays with leverage, and uses his lower body strength and effort to push guys all around. Tassone routinely pushes guys 5+ yards off the LOS and is consistent in his ability to explode off the line, knock defenders back with a strong punch, and maintain and finish his blocks. In pass pro, Tassone moves his feet well, and due to his lower body strength is tough for a defensive lineman to get through, the only option is around and with his size getting around Tassone is enough of a challenge.

Fournier, who plays left tackle for Limoilou in Quebec, showcases quick feet and the ability to block in space. Fournier has a good bend and shows explosiveness out of his stance. Fournier often wins the battle with his hands although at times he can get outside the shoulder. Fournier is quick to his initial punch and does a good job of maintaining blocks by readjusting his hands always fighting for better hand placement. Fournier wins a lot of reps because of his motor and the effort he puts into his blocks. In a lot of blocks on tape, you see that Fournier is simply out-willing his opponents.
