BOOM Trench Warefare: Illinois Offensive Lineman Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Redzone had the opportunity to attend the BOOM Trench Warfare event in St. Louis.&nbsp; This event featured offensive lineman and defensive lineman from Illinois and Missouri.&nbsp; There were a lot of quality prospects in the house.&nbsp; We dive into the event here in <strong>Boom Trench Warfare: Illinois Offensive Line Standouts</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jalin Strowder (Carmel – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Strowder is a massive young man!&nbsp; Stands at 6'3” 340 pounds.&nbsp; The mountain of a man was the most dominant offensive lineman at the camp.&nbsp; Best playing guard he was almost impossible to get around and no one was going through him.&nbsp; Anchors so well holding his ground and not giving up anything.&nbsp; Uses his hands well and also plays with a mean streak.&nbsp; Excellent footwork especially for a guard.&nbsp; Can play some tackle if needed, but probably projects best on the interior of a Power 4 offensive line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Paul Wyman (Harlem – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wyman is a young offensive lineman that has some physical tools to work at 6'3” 230 pounds already.&nbsp; Was most comfortable in this setting playing right tackle.&nbsp; Solid anchor and used his hands well.&nbsp; Got a little high at times.&nbsp; Ton to like here long term especially as he continues to grow and add strength.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1400014' first='Broden' last='Reynolds'] (Mt. Zion – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reynolds flashed.&nbsp; Good frame for this 6'4” 240 pound offensive tackle that once he continues to add strength will be really good.&nbsp; Solid in pass protection that probably projects best at right tackle long term.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jordan Wright (Belleville East – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wright is a young offensive lineman from the metro east to keep tabs on. Flashed throughout the day and was a bit inconsistent at times, but that's what you kind of expect with a young lineman.&nbsp; At 6'1” 295 pounds with good length there are definitely some tools to work with. Best at guard most likely where he can anchor against interior pass rushers as he struggled with speed on the edge.&nbsp; Anchored well against bull rushes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jack Vidales (Woodstock – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'0” 330 pound offensive lineman is a wide bodied prospect that projects best toward guard at the next level.&nbsp; Good footwork and was stellar at anchoring not allowing guys to get past him.&nbsp; At times he played a little high, but for the most part his footwork and raw strength allowed him to win his 1 on 1s.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
