Dixon is a dynamic athlete and a true dual threat QB. At 5’10” 190 lbs. he shows a good ability to go through his reads and be an efficient/effective pocket passer while also being an electric playmaker when he has to create and improvise. Plus arm strength, he’s able to drive the ball at the short/intermediate levels and stretch the field vertically with touch. Possesses great pocket presence and awareness, he feels pressure and is dangerous when he escapes containment. Once he tucks it, he flashes great open field speed, acceleration, and elusiveness. One of the top overall 2026 QB’s in the state and great odds to be the best running QB. Threw for over 2,000 yards and 24 touchdowns with 1,100 rucking yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore. Picked up his initial offer from Utah in December but has the ability to be a double digit offer prospect when all is said and done.
1 Offer: Utah
Brown comes in as our top ranked 2026 RB in the state. At 5’11” 210 lbs. he’s a three down back with a well-rounded skillset as runner, receiver, and blocker in pass protection. Possesses a good combination of power and speed as a ball carrier. He gets downhill pressing the line quickly and exploding through the first level. He’s got good natural instincts and vision to read his blocks and see angles he can attack. Strong frame and good contact balance make him tough to bring down on first contact and in the secondary. Can make quick lateral cuts around defenders and has the long speed to break away in space. Flashes a great ability as a sophomore to see and pick up blitzes in pass protection. First offered by Arizona State in December but watch as his recruiting skyrockets as he’s able to showcase his skillset in one of the top programs in the state.
1 Offer: Arizona State
Impressive young QB that has thrived leading one of the top teams in the state to the Open Division State Championship game. Possesses a high football IQ and demonstrates his ability to process his reads/information quickly to make smart decisions with the football, threw only one interception in 186 attempts as a sophomore. A smooth passer, with clean mechanics and footwork in the pocket. Flashes good field vision and awareness of coverages moving defenders with his eyes and making quick decisive reads. A plus athlete that makes plays with his legs when he needs to, can use his speed to extend gains and make defenders miss in the field. Threw for almost 2,200 yards with 21 touchdowns in 2023 on his way to being voted the 6A Underclassmen of the Year. No offers to date but is under recruited given his ability and command of the position.
At 6’0” 315 lbs. Pollard’s got a powerful frame built for the interior offensive line. He’s a plus athlete at his size that shows good natural movement skills and mobility. Really like his positional flexibility to be effective from the Guard or Center position. Strong at the POA, he plays with leverage and is able to drive through contact to finish opponents to the ground. Flashes good active hands, he’s got a strong initial punch with good extension and quickness. At center he shows great quickness from snap to engaging. Demonstrates the ability top move his feet and execute a variety of different blocks. Like his ability to work to the second level and sustain his block in space. Size and natural strength give him a good anchor to sit and stop an oncoming rush. A three sport athlete (football/track & field/lacrosse) that will be a key piece to Saguaro’s line over the next several years.

Wilt recently made the transfer to Verrado from Tonopah Valley where he had a record-breaking sophomore season throwing for 4,400 yards (2A state record) and 49 touchdowns with a 70% completion rate. At 6’0” 205 lbs. he’s a natural skilled passer throwing a good ball with plus arm strength and accuracy to all three levels. More unorthodox footwork and mechanics but shows he can be accurate off multiple platforms and create throwing lanes by using his legs to manipulate pressure. His strong frame makes him tough to bring down, flashes the ability to break contact with good balance while keeping his eyes down field for an open target. Second Team All-State, 2A Regional Player of the Year, and Ed Doherty Award Nominee. Good foundational skillset to build on as he develops and progresses.

Flashes good all-around game speed, his start/stop speed and quick cut ability make him elusive in the open field and his breakaway speed makes him tough to catch. Possesses a strong and sustained second gear. Not the biggest back at 5’6” 175 lbs. but runs hard between the tackles and shows he can pick up tough yardage. He’s balanced at the contact point and is able to absorb hits while maintaining leg drive and forward momentum to break tackles.
