Continue ReadingThe 2025 Rankings were updated to 125 total players ranked in the class back in January but many more are on the Watch List. These Watch List players will eventually enter the rankings in the future and are names we will be watching closely next season. Here are some OL not currently in the rankings who you should keep an eye on in the fall.
Rounding out our current 2025 Top 25 OL rankings is Spring Valley’s Titus Pratt Titus Pratt 6’1″ | 265 lbs | OL Spring Valley | 2025 WV . The 6’1 265 junior has shown the versatility to play both guard and center in the Timberwolves’ offense and can play either at the next level. Pratt is your typical road grading guard in their run-heavy offense who has the quickness to be able to pull often and effectively. His quickness and footwork also allow him to block down to the second level and in space while showing quality athleticism for his size. Pratt plays with an edge and showcases a willingness to be physical which is a standard in the Spring Valley program, especially at the offensive line position. Although still slightly undersized but steadily growing, Pratt holds up well against bigger defensive and does a great job battling until the whistle. All of the OL currently in our #20-#30 rankings range have D2 potential, and Pratt can work his way into receiving offers from that level.
I’d anticipate Nitro OL Dominick Wise to make a nice jump in the 2025 rankings at some point down the road and be a future stock riser. He is currently placed on our state Watch List but ranks inside the Top 30 for offensive linemen in the class. Wise lists himself as considerably bigger than the last measurements we had for him and is up to 6’3 305 according to his Twitter/X account. That size increase immediately raises his ceiling and potential as a prospect. Wise is certainly no stranger to the weight room either based on the videos posted on social media, and he’s working his way into being a prospect with options for the next level in time. On the field, that raw strength and power translates from the weight room in abundance. Wise has a powerful punch that can alone put defenders on the ground while also being equipped with violent hands. He’s a consistent pancake and knockdown guard who has an apparent love for physicality and asserting himself against defenders. I loved the junior highlight tape he posted after our last round of evaluations and would expect him to rank inside the 2025 Top 100 possibly as soon as our summer update.
Highlights
The Mingo Central Miners have a pair of 2025 offensive linemen ranked in the #26-#30 range beginning with guard Rilee Hatfield Rilee Hatfield 6’2″ | 270 lbs | OL Mingo Central | 2025 WV . He’s another athlete who posts a big increase in size from our last measurements for him and is now in the 6’2 270 range. Hatfield is a bulldozing run blocker with pulling and second-level blocking ability. I thought he showed quality foot quickness when pulling and getting out in space and can finish blocks once he gets there. Hatfield is a physical player who also flashes a strong punch and knockdown ability. He plays with good bend and leverage while also playing with quality pad level from his guard spot. Hatfield is a stout all-around athlete, and his size increase should prove to greatly benefit him during his senior season. I think he’ll play himself into receiving some D2 attention this fall and should impress during the summer college camp season.
The second Mingo Central offensive lineman to know on our state Watch List is Gary Pope Gary Pope 6’2″ | OL Mingo Central | 2025 WV who lines up next to Hatfield at tackle on the right side of their line. He’s a raw prospect with obvious potential and an athlete you can work with to mold into a future college starter. Although he plays tackle in high school, Pope is likely to slide inside to guard at the next level, but it’s great for his personal development to get tackle reps and experience at this level. I thought he showed quality footwork and quickness for a guard-type build playing tackle and those are traits that he can carry with him if he eventually moves to guard in the future. Pope can get to the second level from his tackle spot showcasing said quickness and has power behind him when he gets there. We’d love to get some height and weight measurements for him to give us a better gauge of his ceiling, but Pope looks noticeably big on film. Although raw, he is a prospect whom D2 schools should look at next season while checking out a few talented 2025 Mingo Central offensive linemen.
Class AAA Honorable Mention All-State selection Josiah Stratton Josiah Stratton 6’0″ | 265 lbs | OL Lincoln County | 2025 WV of Lincoln County places inside our Top 30 of 2025 offensive linemen and is a consistent player for the Panthers. He’s impressive from a physical strength standpoint and is likely better suited for guard at the next level but is entrusted to protect the blindside at left tackle in high school. I thought his kick slides in pass protection were solid with the ability to get in front of quicker edge defenders and ends for an athlete his size and build playing tackle. Unsurprisingly, his raw physical strength and power translate to the field, and Stratton won’t be overpowered very often at the high school level. His 6’0 270 size paired with his physical strength and playing style is what makes us confident that he’ll develop into a quality college guard at the next level and should thrive at that position. Stratton was also a two-way player and has interior defensive line ability as well if needed. He should be able to repeat his All-State honors next season when Lincoln County drops down a class to the new AAA and is a prospect that D2 and D3 programs should be evaluating.
