Prep Redzone Louisiana released its latest 2025 rankings this week with a long list of notable changes.

In addition to the shifts up and down the list, several prospects have adjusted heights, weights, positions, schools or even primary sports.

Here are notes on 12 of the biggest changes.

[player_tooltip player_id='710075' first='Devin' last='Harper'] — 6-5, 295 OL — Calvary Baptist

and [player_tooltip player_id='144900' first='Kaleb' last='Tucker'] — 6-2, 170 WR — Calvary Baptist

The two highly ranked, Division-I prospects both transferred this winter from larger schools to Calvary Baptist, the 2023 Division-III Select state champion and strong contender for a potential repeat. And the resulting highlight reels this fall should be an awful lot of fun from Harper's potential to dominate in the trenches to Tucker rejoining several former middle school teammates and an offense that returns an all-state quarterback and running back.

[player_tooltip player_id='914207' first='Aidan' last='Anding'] — 5-11, 165 DB — Ruston

Probably not breaking news, but [player_tooltip player_id='914207' first='Aidan' last='Anding'] is now a football player who also excels at basketball. The basketball and track standout earned a top-50 position in the class rankings last summer with his impressive athletic profile that helped earn a hometown Louisiana Tech before ever playing a varsity football season. But he showed this fall he is in the top tier of 2025 defensive back prospects in a state that consistently produces the position at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='710077' first='Nate' last='Sheppard'] — 5-11, 185 RB — Mandeville

The Skippers' star is now listed about 20 pounds heavier than in previous rankings updates. In a loaded 2025 running back class, Sheppard has continued to prove himself a force to be reckoned with and one of the most well-rounded prospects of the group with his combination of power, speed and a receiving skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='426961' first='Russell' last='Babineaux'] — 5-9, 160 ATH — Acadiana

Babineaux has been a highly ranked prospect in Louisiana' 2025 class throughout the group's high school career with his next-level projection largely coming as a dynamic slot receiver and return man. He played notable reps this fall at corner, though, and showed some positional versatility there worth monitoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='710076' first='Joshua' last='Brantley'] — 6-4, 200 ATH — Ruston

The Bearcats' standout has been one of Louisiana's top-ranked 2025 quarterback prospects for a few rounds of updates now and stepped up as a passer when called upon in the state championship game, completing 11 of his 19 passes for 194 yards to go with his 134 rushing yards. But his position distinction shifts to ATH with some colleges reportedly also considering him as a potential safety at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='914092' first='Davian' last='Jackson'] — 6-2, 170 ATH — Westgate

"Diamond" has always been listed as an ATH in the rankings with his versatility as a running back or wide receiver for his Tigers. But he's started working this offseason on his technique as a defensive back and has some major colleges, including home-state LSU, monitoring his potential in the secondary as he hits spring ball and the summer camp circuit.

Nehemiah Philip — 6-1, 190 WR — Riverside Academy

Another standout expected to suit up for a new school this year, "Nemo" announced a transfer this winter to Riverside Academy where he'll add a tall target with a big catch radius to a Rebels squad returning plenty of talent from a run this past fall to a state championship game.

[player_tooltip player_id='914205' first='Derrick' last='Johnson Jr.'] — 6-3, 220 TE — Holy Cross

The Tigers' standout has been somewhat of a receiver/tight end tweener and makes the switch on this list from the former to the latter. Regardless of which position he gets categorized on the list, Johnson has chance to be a potentially versatile mismatch of a weapon at the next level with his size and receiving skillset.

[player_tooltip player_id='913904' first='Brent' last='Gordon Jr.'] — 5-11, 175 DB — Cecilia

Playing in all three phases like his fellow Cecilia standouts, Gordon had been listed at "ATH" in earlier rankings updates with his ability as a receiver as well. But the biggest positional question for him may just be whether he ends up at safety or corner. He excelled this fall as a playmaking safety, earning all-state honors, but was working some this winter — and looking good — at cornerback, where he showed the speed and hips to stay in phase and eyes and instincts to make well-timed plays on balls thrown his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='291145' first='William' last='Patrick'] — 6-1, 170 DB — St. Frederick

and [player_tooltip player_id='198807' first='Sawyer' last='Pruitt'] — 6-5, 215 QB — Live Oak

On the flip side of multisport spectrum from Anding now being clearly bound for college football, a pair of previous top-100 prospects decided to focus on baseball and their SEC futures on the diamond. Patrick and Pruitt committed to LSU and Ole Miss, respectively.
