Mengel is going to see a rise among 2026 QBs, which is important considering how special this 2026 QB class is looking. Solid testing numbers all-around, a legitimate six-foot prospect, verified measurables and testing numbers go a long way. A few coaches mentioned his name to me as well. About 800 juniors are repped right now, so placing among the top half is no accolade worth laughing at. Much like his ranking, Zigler Jr. fit right in along side prominent names. If that's the case, it's likely Zigler deserves to be bumped to further reflect that notion.
