Jeremy Williams Jeremy Williams 5'10" | 200 lbs | ATH Metrolina Christian Academy | 2025 State NC – Metrolina
Standing at 5’10 and 190 pounds, Jeremy has a solid build to be the foundation of an offensive attack. I’ve liked him ever since I saw him up close at a camp as a freshman – everything he does is extremely smooth and fluid. Boasting a 4.35 GPA, he will be a dream for colleges that are interested in recruiting this young man. Looking at his film, he has excellent vision, especially in the interior run game. He has the agility to make one cut, and then get north/south for maximum yardage. With good speed in the open field and the ability to split out and play wide receiver, he is a 3-down threat for sure.
Mekhi Herron – AL Brown
The first thing I thought when I saw Mekhi’s film was that he’s a home run hitter. He had several big runs that went the distance, showcasing excellent speed in the open field. He shows very good vision and some nice agility to set himself up for those game breaking plays. Standing at 5’11 and 190 pounds, Mekhi has a 3.2 GPA. Given his size, I would expect for him to jump on some recruiting boards during the upcoming camp season.
Christian Holland – Forestview
Coming into his senior season, Christian already holds an offer from Ferrum College, and deserves some more recruiting attention. At 5’9 and 175 pounds, he has been the primary focus of the Forestview offense the last couple of years. He is a solidly built prospect with excellent vision. He has a good burst through the hole and has enough speed to break a big run and take it the distance. Christian also boasts a 3.7 GPA, a great asset that will give him a lot of options as his recruiting picks up.
Nick Diamond – Weddington
Being the main running back for the State Champions, you would think Nick would get more attention in general, and he definitely should. I enjoy watching Nick’s highlights, he is a tough north/south runner that helps set a physical tone for the Warriors. This past season he had over 1200 all purpose yards and 13 total touchdowns. He was selected as an All-Conference player and has a 4.15 GPA. With a new quarterback next season, I expect Nick to be an even bigger part of the Warriors offensive attack.
Tristan Tate – Shelby
I had the opportunity to watch Tristan in person this past season, and I was very impressed. He presses the hole and explodes through extremely well, especially on inside and outside zone plays. He had over 1500 rushing yards this past season with 18 rushing touchdowns, impressive production. He can also help in the passing game, as he had 379 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns. Standing at 5’7 and 160 pounds – he has some excellent speed in the open field as well. He will have to be patient as far as recruiting goes but I expect interest to come his way throughout his senior season.
Aiden Carson – Crest
Standing at 5’11 and 185 pounds, Carson was the perfect complement to the Crest aerial attack this past season. He piled up 1100 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in an offense that featured a very talented quarterback and several excellent receivers. I believe he will have a huge senior year as he will become an even bigger part of the Chargers offense. He has impressive speed in the open field, and a special quick cut/juke step to elude tacklers in space. He does have recruiting interest from several schools, and I definitely expect that to increase as he enters the spring and summer camp season.
Issac Brown – East Gaston
Issac jumped on the radar when East Gaston got off to an impressive undefeated start to their season. He was named All-Conference as he had over 1100 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns on the season. I like his size at 6’0 and 195 pounds, and seeing him up close, he is a nice combination of physical downhill runner, and very good speed once he hits the 2nd and 3rd level of the defense. He has excellent patience through the hole and great vision, allowing for his blocks to develop and then exploding into space off of them. With a new quarterback for East Gaston next year, he will be an even more important piece of their offensive gameplan.
