Wilson’s a big, towering OT at 6’6”/325 that showed noticeable improvement from sophomore to junior season last fall. He’s a physical, bully-type OT that uses his size/upper-body strength to control defenders and delivers a devastating punch at the POA. His feet can get a little slow and stagnant at times but shows good mobility getting out in front as an effective lead blocker in the run game. Wilson’s natural physical tools combined with his powerful, aggressive style in the run game could project him as an appealing RT at the next level.
Highlights
Kingstun Niumata
Kingstun Niumata
Niumata was a highly impactful IOL playing both OG spots for one of the most productive offenses in San Diego last season. He holds a stout, powerful build at 6’/285 and does well fitting into double teams and coming off primary blocks to seal at the second level. He holds up well in pass protection with a strong lower anchor and shows high IQ and awareness locating delayed blitzers. He moves with light, quick feet for an OG of his size and possesses the short-range burst to beat defenders to the spot. Niumata’s a severely underrated prospect among San Diego’s 2025 OL class.
Liam Kline
Liam Kline
Kline’s a rising 2025 OL prospect that was a standout performer at San Diego’s Hogs & Dogs Skills Camp in February. He’s a lengthy, athletic OT at 6’6”/265 that possesses the footwork and quickness to stay in front of speed rushers on the edge. He’s a plus-side pass protector with strong technical skills: he moves off a solid base, plays with active feet, shows good lateral movement, and stays patient with his hands ready to strike. On film, he’s scrappy as a run blocker and uses his eyes and instincts to identify stunts/blitzes. Look for Kline to continue to build off the momentum of his standout performance as we get deeper into the offseason cycle.
Romeo Mageo
Romeo Mageo
Mageo’s a violent interior player on both sides of the trenches for Cathedral Catholic (OG/DT). He explodes out of his stance from his OG spot, is quick to locate targets, and strikes with fast, precise hands at the POA. He maintains proper leverage and posture in pass protection and is intentional with his leg drive when engaging defenders. With the natural power and explosiveness he offers, Mageo could start to pick up major recruiting interest as he continues to grow and develop his 6’2”/260 frame.
Michael Fields
Michael Fields
Fields proved to be a versatile IOL playing both C and OG as a junior for Lincoln. He does a good job of keeping the front of the pocket clean for QB Akili Smith Jr. Akili Smith Jr. 6’5″ | 200 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2025 State CA (Oregon-commit) and has the strength to move interior defenders off the ball in the run game. His shorter frame (5’10”/255) affords him a natural leverage advantage over bigger DTs and shows good control of his body when working up to the second level. Fields is an intriguing IOL prospect that figures to be an experienced anchor for Lincoln’s OL unit in the fall.
