The 2024 cycle is not completely closed, but several schools have started to look at getting a jump on the ’25 class. To help in your search for elite 2025 players, I bring you these four players who I believe are on the verge of a monster year.
Check out these four 2025 prospects that you need to have on your recruiting boards.
Ryan Meier Ryan Meier 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Kearney | 2025 State NE | 2025 | LB | Kearney | 6’2″ 215 lbs
The Bearcats are absolutely loaded at the linebacker position heading into the 2024 season, including Ryan Meier Ryan Meier 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Kearney | 2025 State NE , who will be looking to build on a solid junior year. Despite missing four games due to injury, Ryan still posted 64 tackles, three TFLs, and a sack. He possesses great measurables at 6’2″ and 215 lbs, with excellent athleticism, boasting a 4.66 40-yard time and a 32.5″ vertical. Watching Ryan’s tape, I really like his ability to play downhill and defend the run. He’s very smart, especially when determining where running lanes will be, and can quickly fill those holes. Ryan’s length, power, and tackling technique make him a pretty secure tackler when he gets to the ball. Looking forward to seeing what Ryan looks like after an offseason and full season of ball… scary!
Braylon Anderson Braylon Anderson 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Oakland-Craig | 2025 State NE | 2025 | QB | Oakland-Craig | 6’3″ 210 lbs
After back-to-back 2,000-yard passing yard seasons, Oakland-Craig’s Braylon Anderson Braylon Anderson 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Oakland-Craig | 2025 State NE has quickly become one of the most prolific QBs in Class C2. Braylon threw for 2,074 yards and 14 touchdowns, completing 63% of his passes while also tacking on 506 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. Braylon has the size that projects well to the next level at 6’3″ and 210 pounds and displays great toughness that you like to see from your QB. Anderson is very calm in the pocket, showing that he can hang on through pressure while waiting for the perfect time to throw the ball. He delivers the ball with great precision and can layer the ball over defenders very well. Braylon’s touch on the ball when throwing deep is nice to see, showing that he can drop it right in the bucket. There were several throws in Braylon’s tape where he used different arm angles to make throws around defenders, which very much looked like some of the throws that caught everyone’s eyes on Saturdays and Sundays. His big frame and strength make him a very difficult player to bring down when he decides to tuck and run. I’m predicting an even bigger senior season for Braylon!
Brock Templar Brock Templar 140 lbs | ATH Blair | 2025 State NE | 2025 | RB/ATH | Blair | 5’10” 180 lbs
Blair’s Brock Templar Brock Templar 140 lbs | ATH Blair | 2025 State NE returns as one of the most electric players in Class B next year! Brock had a massive breakout season in his junior year, where he rushed for 1,553 yards on 248 carries and had nine touchdowns on the ground. Templar is a super speedy back who can go 0-100 when he hits his lane. He has great acceleration and is a threat to go for the home run whenever he breaks loose in the open field. Brock is very twitchy and cuts/jukes/shifts his way past defenders while still being very explosive. I like Brock’s vision and how seamless he makes it look when predicting where lanes will open up. Templar is also an effective receiving back, posting 22 catches for 240 yards and two receiving touchdowns. On top of his offensive versatility, Brock also showed that he can get the job done on defense with 51 tackles, 6 TFLs, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. With a new QB under center for the Bears, I would expect to see a HEAVY dose of Brock in 2024!
Braedyn Kiger Braedyn Kiger 5'10" | 235 lbs | DL Millard West | 2025 State NE | 2025 | DL | Millard West | 6’0″ 250 lbs
Braedyn was one of the more under-the-radar players on one of the top defenses in Class A. Kiger was a pivotal player in that tough Wildcat defensive front, which did a great job stuffing run games all season long. He ended his junior year with 47 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, five sacks, and forced three fumbles. Braedyn sticks out on his tape, especially with his motor and tireless pursuit on every down, as he was constantly near the ball. Kiger isn’t a super big lineman, relying more on technique, leverage, and strength to overwhelm his opponents and win at the LOS. Braedyn consistently showed that he can disengage from blocks using violent hands and rips to break into the backfield. He plays with a strong base that allows him to stay put and not give up ground when locked in with linemen— even against double teams. Very good showing against some of the top interior linemen in the state… Braedyn is gonna be BIG TIME for the Wildcats in 2024!
