Starters:
- Desmond Straughton Desmond Straughton 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Roseville | 2025 State MI , Roseville: Easy pick here as this is a P5 caliber DB. He’s fast, physical, and athletic enough to play sideline to sideline and lock down the opponents WR1.
- Drew Rankin Drew Rankin 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Northville | 2025 State MI , Northville: I’ve watched Drew clamp multiple D1 caliber receivers. He’s fast, technical, and disciplined. He’s also a great leader and glue guy that you want to go to war with.
- Marquis Peoples Jr Marquis Peoples Jr 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Belleville | 2025 State MI , Belleville: This is probably the best safety in the entire state. He is literally all over the field all game long. He plays the ball well and is a nightmare for QBs trying to beat him.
- Isaac Poot Isaac Poot 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Rockford | 2025 State MI , Rockford: He plays his best in the big moments. Has a nose for the ball and is a monster in the pass and run game. He makes offenses work for every yard.
- Cortez Porter Cortez Porter ATH Davison | 2026 State MI , Davison: Super underrated. Contests everything, gets great position and has elite speed. I think he could become one of the best DBs in the state very soon.
Subs:
- Brayden Sweeney Brayden Sweeney 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2026 State MI , Grand Rapids Catholic Central: Almost made my top 5. Physical, plays the ball well and has great closing speed. Can get it done in the run game as well.
- DiJon Wilson DiJon Wilson 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB River Rouge | 2026 State MI , River Rouge: Aggressive but technical. Probably has one of the highest ceilings on this list. Blazing speed and can play sideline to sideline. Nobody gets behind Wilson.
- Donald “Trace” Corlew III: Gladwin: Good length, great at batting balls away. Very technical, doesn’t get beat. Good jumper, defends the 50/50 ball extremely well.
