Continue ReadingTanie Young Tanie Young 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Trinity | 2025 State PA is one of the best players in the State. He put on a show at our Prep Redzone Showcase in January. Here is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
“ Tanie Young Tanie Young 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Trinity | 2025 State PA is someone I was looking forward to watching the Showcase because his film was so good from last year. Young is a human highlight film who makes plays a lot everytime he touches the ball. Young earned MVP honors at the camp for the wide receiver position as he was dominant throughout the entire showcase. Young ran a 4.68 40 time, which is a solid number. Young caught everything thrown his way. He especially showed good ability in one-on-one drills where he stepped up his game even more. I came away very impressed with him as a player and a name to watch going forward”.
Amil Way Amil Way 6’1″ | 185 lbs | DB Trinity CH | 2025 State PA is a talented defensive back in the 2025 class. Below is what my colleague Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA wrote about him:
“Recently ranked as a top-five 2025 defensive back, has now placed here for back-to-back updates. The 2023 tape opens with Way returning an interception for a score of 95 yards. Is trusted to play at the LOS, and has some of the best catch-up speeds in his class. A consistent runner who can be called upon to bump and run with many of the speedsters Central Pennsylvania has to offer. Has produced several interceptions over the past two seasons, although many of his interceptions from this past Fall have come as a result of poor QB play. Is the type of DB that can turn into a wideout after the catch, and would likely excel in the return game. Can play wideout at this level too. Play recognition, and awareness, I’d call both of these Amil Way Amil Way 6’1″ | 185 lbs | DB Trinity CH | 2025 State PA ‘s calling cards. So long as he continues to test well in the offseason, I expect his O numbers to climb heading into his senior year”.
Jacob Ness
Jacob Ness
Jacob Ness has some of the most impressive film I have seen in a while. In the 1st two clips from his film Hess blocks two punts and returns them for touchdowns. I don’t know if I ever saw that before. He blocked both kicks off the edge then picked it up and raced to the end zone. Ness played linebacker and he flashed some elite traits. He has legit speed and runs sideline-to-sideline to make plays all over the field. He does a good job getting off blocks and coming upfield to make plays on the ball. Ness is a good tackler, especially in the open field. Ness has an impressive film and should only get better next season.
Christian Joy Christian Joy 5’9″ | 170 lbs | RB Trinity | 2025 State PA is a talented running back who shows good athleticism and speed. Joy does a great job of being patient and then hitting the hole. Once he hits the hole he has the elusiveness to make defenders miss. Joy also has good speed and once he gets into the open field he has the speed to run by defenders. He also has a physical running style and runs through contact from defenders. Joy also showed good hands and caught the ball well.I expect him to get even better next season.
Marcus Yeager Marcus Yeager LB State PA is a good off-the-ball linebacker who flashed some good skills last year. Below is what my colleague Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA wrote about him before:
“OLB role at Trinity Camp Hill carries a bit of a thicker build than I’d imagine for a basketball kid too. An edge-setting OLB that plays the run well, sifts through traffic headed his way to locate and bring down ball carriers. Consistently stands up his man, has good power, sheds, and makes tackles at the LOS. Interested in seeing if he has any pass-rushing capabilities, his tape is somewhat short but he’s still an underclassman. Will have a better feel for off-LOS cover skills. Right now, he’s a big run supporter who has the potential to grow as a cover guy, would love to see him work in person”.
Mikal Shank is a talented quarterback in the 2027 class. I am super impressed with his size and his ability to throw the ball. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
“Mikal Shank is another talented quarterback who did very well at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He shows good mechanics and does a nice job of setting his feet to throw the ball Shank is great size standing 6’3 inches tall. He shows that he has a good arm and shows it off when he throws deep balls. Shank should be the starting quarterback next year for Trinity and I am excited to see his progress”.
Highlights
Luke Serino
Luke Serino
Luke Serino played offensive tackle last year. He has good athletic ability and does a nice job of blocking on the edge. He shows his athleticism by blocking on screens and other pass plays. He also shows a good ability to chase linebackers and block them. Serino is 6’2″, but could gain some weight and strength on his frame. If he does both that will help him to be more successful run blocking. Overall Serino has a ton of talent and should only get better.
Quincy Smith
Quincy Smith
Quincy Smith showed last year how talented he was as a player. He flashed some good athleticism for a defensive end. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
“Quincy Smith played defensive end last year for Trinity. He did a good job as a defensive end by using his athleticism to make plays in the offensive backfield. He has elite traits to play the position. He does a good job of getting hands-on offensive tackles and then keeping his contain on the edge. Smith also has a motor that never stops, and he constantly made plays all over the field. He also has good pass rush moves and he should continue to grow in this area. Smith is a talented player who should play even better next year as a Junior. Smith recently got an offer from the University of Akron”.
Hayden Johnson Hayden Johnson 5’10” | 190 lbs | LB Trinity | 2027 PA is a good outside linebacker. He is a fundamentally sound football player who does a nice job of following his keys and making the right plays on defense. He is really good on run support by coming upfield and making plays. He also does a good job of running sideline-to-sideline to make plays all over the field. Johnson is a talented player who should only get better going into his Sophomore season.
Kevin Cloak
Kevin Cloak
Kevin Cloak has limited film and some of it is from Junior Varsity, but he flashed some serious skills. He is 6’6″ inches tall and looks every part of it. He is a good athlete that moves his feet well. Sky’s the limit for Cloak, so he should only get better going into his Junior Year.
Samuel Mulbah
Samuel Mulbah
Samuel Mulbah has limited film, but showed he has a lot of potential at defensive tackle. He is tough to block one-on-one. He has good strength and is hard to get off his spot. Mulbah has the potential to be more of an impact player next season.
Ishmael Palmer
Ishmael Palmer
Ishmael Palmer has limited film, but he flashed some legitimate speed. At cornerback and as a receiver he showed he can run with the best of him. At defensive back he chased down several players all over the field. As a wide receiver he showed once he gets into the open field, he has the speed to run by defenders. Palmer is a good athlete who should have a better chance to showcase his speed this season.
