Northern Nevada Prospects to Watch

Charlie's power and flashes of next level explosiveness shows creating space in the run game. The two-sport athlete has been dominating Nevada wrestling lately but may have a future as a linebacker in college. JT has a combination of size, instincts, and tackling ability that suggests he can thrive as a linebacker at the next level. A fluid change of direction and good closing speed gets displayed pressuring quarterbacks as a blitzer. Coaches like Ben's instincts, toughness, and tackling ability on defense; With Ben's productivity and instinctiveness displayed on defense, I am starting to think he will be recruited on both sides of the ball during his senior year. Still, I was impressed with Ben's improved strength and balance at the catchpoint during 2023. A good combination of anticipation and arm strength gets displayed when Jackson hits well-timed crossing routes in between defenses' zone coverage. Next level accuracy shows leading receivers vertically with touch or hitting them in stride while throwing on the run. Mataio showed improved power and athleticism during 2023 easily knocking second level defenders out in the run game. Coaches like Mataio's combination of speed, drive, and flexibility displayed removing defenders from the point of attack with good leverage.
