Avery Gach Avery Gach 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Groves | 2025 State MI | Birmingham Groves | Hudl
Gach has excellent play strength and has the ability to control defenders and drive them completely out of the play. His feet are calm and fast when he drops into pass protection. Gach uses good leverage and almost never gets pushed back when pass blocking. He is a very good run blocker as well and is very good at pulling and staying in ideal positions to block defenders. Gach is a terrific football player overall and is game is crucial to the success of Grove’s offense.
Darrin Strey Darrin Strey 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Paw Paw | 2025 State MI | Paw Paw | Hudl
Strey can really explode off the line of scrimmage when he is run blocking. I love that when Strey is pulling he is coming at defenders with bad intentions. Like Gach, Strey has very good strength and can really drive defenders back. Strey does a good job of playing fast and is always looking for a man to block. Strey is very good on defense as well and does a good job of disrupting opposing offenses with his ability to get off blocks.
Jim Harris Jim Harris 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Muskegon | 2025 State MI | Muskegon | Hudl
Harris is a good run and pass blocker. He is a very smooth player who does not waste much movement when executing his blocks. He shows good competitive toughness and will continue to carry out blocks down the field. Like Strey, Harris is explosive off the line of scrimmage. He has the ability to pull and is a good athlete that can seal off the edge on end around plays. Harris has ideal size for the position at 6-6. I like his game and he played a big role in Muskegon being so successful this past season.
N’Kye Wynn | Muskegon | Hudl
Wynn plays with great leverage and is very dominate one-on-one against defenders. He has as good of competitive toughness as you will find in a high school athlete. Like his teammate Harris, Wynn is a very good run blocker and pass blocker. Wynn has good overall play strength and good size as well. Muskegon is very fortunate to have two outstanding offensive tackles on their team in Jim Harris Jim Harris 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Muskegon | 2025 State MI & N’Kye Wynn.
Antonio Johnson Antonio Johnson 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2025 State MI | Orchard Lake St. Mary’s | Hudl
Johnson is a good athlete who has the ability to get to the 2nd level and block linebackers in the open field. Johnson really gets after defenders and has the ability to pancake. Johnson is good in pass protection and does a good job of using his arm length to keep defenders off him. Johnson shows the versatility to play guard and tackle. Johnson is a very good football player and he is one of many great players to play at Orchard Lake. I will be interested to see if Orchard Lake chooses to play him more at guard or tackle next year.
