Over the next few weeks, recruiting, camps, and 7-on-7 tournaments will start to make the headlines as the offseason drags on.
Jake Sneed Jake Sneed 6'5" | 210 lbs | TE Concordia Lutheran | 2027 State TX -Tight End-Concordia Lutheran-2027
At 6’6”, Sneed is a tight end that has all the tools to cause plenty of problems for opposing defenses. Sneed uses his size and quickness well to create separation from opposing defenders. Sneed is able to haul in tough receptions and extend the drives in the process. He is a prospect that is going to continue to improve. Last week, the Oklahoma Sooners extended a scholarship his way. Over the next few years, he has the potential to light up Friday nights.

Andre Feast Andre Feast 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Fort Bend Marshall | 2025 State TX is a wide receiver that always seems to create separation and get open for his quarterback. Feast has the speed needed to stretch the field vertically on the deep passing routes. He is a prospect that can work the underneath routes as well as the deep routes. Last week, Feast earned a scholarship offer from the Memphis Tigers. He is a wide receiver that has the potential to put up big numbers during the 2024 season.
Keylon Abrams-Defensive Line-DeSoto-2025
Keylon Abrams lives on the offensive side of the ball. He does an excellent job of getting of blocks and hauling down the ball carrier. Last season, Abrams racked up 90 tackles and produced 21 sacks in the process. Abrams uses his speed well coming off of the edge and does a great job of getting into the backfield. He tracks the ball carrier well and rarely misses tackles. The talented edge rusher earned a scholarship offer from TCU last week. Abrams has the potential to put together another strong season in 2024.
Nelson Peterson Jr. Nelson Peterson Jr. 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Forney | 2026 State TX -Quarterback-Sunnyvale-2026
The Sunnyvale signal caller can hurt an opposing defense in a variety of ways. Peterson Jr. throws the football with accuracy to all levels. Last season, Peterson Jr. struck for 15 touchdowns and only threw 3 interceptions in the process. Meanwhile, he used his legs well and picked up 634 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. Over the weekend, he earned a scholarship offer from Texas Tech University. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

Jakoby Dixon Jakoby Dixon 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Brenham | 2027 State TX is a patient running back that allows his blockers to open a rushing lane before exploding through the hole. He is a difficult running back to bring down initial contact. Dixon has a knack for breaking tackles getting into the open field. Dixon makes great use of his speed, and he has the potential to do big things on Friday nights over the next few years. Last week, Dixon earned a scholarship offer from the Baylor Bears.
