Jake had an impressive performance at tight end, showing why he’s a key piece of the offense. He dominated in the run game with powerful, sustained blocks, consistently opened lanes for the running backs, and was a reliable target in the passing game with tough catches in traffic. Beyond his physical tools, he demonstrated excellent awareness and route running, finding soft spots in coverage and making defenders miss after the catch. His combination of size, strength, and playmaking ability made him a constant threat and a game-changer for his team.

Sneed is big body pass catcher who runs crisp routes, he moves well in space and he has the short area quickness that enables him to get open. He is smooth route runner who uses his body to shield off defenders in close coverage to make contested catches. During the 1 on 1 session, Sneed made several grabs with defenders draped on his back. He has a large catch radius that enables him to high point the football in a jump ball situation. Sneed was impressive at the retreat and I expect a big year for the rising sophomore this fall.

His ferocious blocking skills make him a key contributor to the running game, using his reach and strength to control defenders at the point of attack. It’s no wonder he’s already catching the attention of college programs and Sneed is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
