Jake is a technically sound tight end who relies on fundamentals and consistency. He shows good route discipline, stays patient in his breaks, and does a solid job staying square when working through traffic. Jake’s blocking technique stands out, as he maintains leverage, keeps his feet moving, and stays engaged. His steady approach and attention to detail make him dependable.

Jake had an impressive performance at tight end, showing why he’s a key piece of the offense. He dominated in the run game with powerful, sustained blocks, consistently opened lanes for the running backs, and was a reliable target in the passing game with tough catches in traffic. Beyond his physical tools, he demonstrated excellent awareness and route running, finding soft spots in coverage and making defenders miss after the catch. His combination of size, strength, and playmaking ability made him a constant threat and a game-changer for his team.

Sneed is big body pass catcher who runs crisp routes, he moves well in space and he has the short area quickness that enables him to get open. He is smooth route runner who uses his body to shield off defenders in close coverage to make contested catches. During the 1 on 1 session, Sneed made several grabs with defenders draped on his back. He has a large catch radius that enables him to high point the football in a jump ball situation. Sneed was impressive at the retreat and I expect a big year for the rising sophomore this fall.
