Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Jacoby is a dynamic running back heading to Oklahoma who brings a strong combination of speed and vision to the backfield. He shows quick acceleration through the line of scrimmage and has the burst to turn even small openings into explosive gains. Once he gets into space, his straight-line speed makes him a consistent big-play threat.
What really stands out in his game is his vision. Jacoby reads blocks well, stays patient when needed, and has the ability to bounce runs or cut back against the grain when lanes close. That patience, paired with his quick decision-making, allows him to consistently find yards that aren’t always there on the initial look.

Dixon is a speed-based running back who can change the pace of a game in an instant. Once he finds open space, his acceleration and top-end speed make it tough for defenders to recover, turning small openings into explosive, field-flipping plays.
What stands out in his game is how quickly he hits the hole. Dixon doesn’t hesitate—he plants, accelerates, and is immediately into his stride. That straight-line burst puts pressure on defenses to stay disciplined, because even one missed assignment can turn into a big gain.
Beyond just raw speed, Dixon shows good anticipation and timing as a runner. He understands when to press a gap and when to bounce outside, which helps him maximize his athleticism instead of just running fast in a straight line. His ability to stay light on his feet allows him to adjust mid-run and avoid direct hits in tight spaces.
In the open field, he’s especially dangerous. Dixon has the gear to outrun pursuit angles and the confidence to finish plays once he breaks into space. Defenders are often forced into bad tackling angles because of how quickly he reaches top speed.
Overall, Dixon is a home run threat every time he touches the ball an explosive back who forces defenses to respect both his speed and his ability to turn routine plays into big moments. Dixon Florida, Michigan , Oklahoma State, Houston.

out of Brenham. Dixon was on our radar before he entered high school and he lived up to the hype as a freshman. He’s already considered one of the best freshman running backs in Texas and that opinion might start branching out to the region and inevitably the country. Dixon has a handful of D1 offers already and he’s just scratching the surface on what he’ll be as a prospect. Despite 7v7 being known mostly for quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs, we’ll see quite a few running backs that will be playing on Saturdays in the future.

Dixon is a versatile running back who is ranked as the number one 2027 RB in his class. Every week, he competes against upperclassmen and shows glimpses of being an All American. Dixon has been evaluated at the 18U level, where he dominates. He adds both the IT-Factor and the Alpha Dog mindset. Dixon was able to use his genuine 4.5 speed and great jumping talents with every 50/50 ball. He will soon have every offer in the country.

is truly is the crème of the crop. Jakoby has been considered one of the best athletes in the country. He has a unique skill set on both sides of the ball. Although his primary position as a running back, he is so athletic that he can play several positions. We chose Jakoby as the tournament MVP because he produced outstanding contributions on both sides of the ball. He is the Alpha Dog who keeps the squad on track. We see Jakoby as the next major name in his class to get an All-American invitation in 2027.

Dixon is a Running Back that forces other kids to make “business decisions” when he’s running at them one-on-one. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Running Back played this past season for Burton Junior High and is one of the best Running Backs I’ve seen in the class of 2027, bar none. There are not many prospects out there, at any level of prep football, that have acceleration like Dixon. It takes him only a few steps before he’s at full speed, and it’s crazy to watch. On top of speed he’s absolutely chiseled for just being an eighth-grade Running Back. His instagram handle includes the word “man child” in it, and there’s no other way to describe a prospect like this. If I’m a college program, I’m getting
