CJ Besser CJ Besser 6’3″ | 240 lbs | DL Faith Lutheran | 2026 State NV made the most of his opportunity during Faith Lutheran’s 2023 playoff run. Watch out for the versatile prospect’s defensive recruitment to heat up in 2024. A solid anchor and good shed technique shows holding his ground versus double tames as a nose guard. CJ flashes a combination of strength, instincts, and quickness that suggests he has all the abilities to thrive as an interior run defender at the next level. Active hands plus flashes of quickness and power highlights CJ’s potential to develop into a power rusher in college.
Dominic Harris Dominic Harris 6’8″ | 315 lbs | OL Clark | 2026 State NV is a huge OT prospect I am surprised has not received more attention. The powerful Clark High School product is bound to see his regional recruitment heat up this fall. Good flexibility and next level strength gets displayed driving smaller defenders from the point of attack. Dominic’s balance, quickness, and football IQ displayed in the run game highlights his potential to be a quality run blocker in college. Coaches love Dominic’s combination of length and power shown dominating defenders with minimal contact; With Dominic’s size and athleticism expect recruiters to evaluate his pass protection potential all year long.
Highlights
Alexander Inoke Alexander Inoke 6’1″ | 285 lbs | OL Centennial | 2025 State NV is one of the most underrated interior OL prospects in Las Vegas. He has been invited to several camps across the country, but I am surprised he has not received more regional attention. Expect Alexander’s first offer to come in before his senior season ends. Alexander’s powerful punch, quick feet, and good football IQ shows easily knocking out blitzers who come in his vicinity. Coaches love Alexander’s combination of size and strength shown moving defenders from the point of attack. Good balance and a solid anchor displayed in pass protection highlights Alexander’s potential to be a quality interior pass blocker.
Ty’Juan Warren-Thomas
Ty’Juan Warren-Thomas
Ty’Juan Warren-Thomas was one of several Legacy prospects who boosted their stock during a state championship winning season last fall. Although he has yet to receive his first offer, I expect Ty’Juan’s defensive recruitment to skyrocket in 2024. A strong punch and good instincts get displayed when Ty’Juan successfully defends the edge in the run game. Fast hands and good acceleration consistently shows beating tackles as a speed rusher. Ty’Juan’s combination of length, quickness, and athleticism is a rarity defensive recruiters love to see out of pass rushing prospects.
De’Reel Beverly
De’Reel Beverly
I was impressed with De’Reel Beverly’s improvements made on defense during the 2023 season. Don’t be surprised when his first offer gets here before fall. De’Reel’s strong punch, flashes of acceleration, and fluid change of direction shows pressuring QBs off the edge. Next level closing speed and good tackling ability gets displayed in the open field. Good length, physicality, and football IQ suggests De’Reel has all the abilities to develop into a stout run defender in college.
