The following players are just a few we’re excited to watch that day. These are guys you’re going to want to know about very quickly.
Carter Coleman Carter Coleman 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Blythewood | 2026 State SC WR, Blythewood – The transfer from Ridge View gives the Bengals a bona fide No. 1 pass catcher going into next season. He’s shifty and has top end speed so this should be a showcase for him to display all of that to scouts.
Kieron Vauls Kieron Vauls 6'2" | 275 lbs | OL American Leadership Academy | 2026 SC OL, American Leadership Academy – Vauls gives the first-year program an All-State candidate out the gate. He’s 6-foot-3, 270 pounds with great feet and is extremely athletic. He will play on both sides of the ball, but his future might be on the offensive line. He’s been invited to the US Army combine in San Antonio.
Dashan Scriven DB, Crestwood – Scriven is a fast, physical defensive back that should show those skills in the one-on-one portion of this event. His role should increase for the Knights, and he might be asked to do additional things in the fall but this is going to be a good spot for him to get his name more well known across the state.
Josiah Oxendine Josiah Oxendine 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Dillon | 2026 State SC QB, Dillon – Oxendine thrived in a run-oriented offense, but all the tools are there for him to fit in a passing scheme. His arm strength should show, and his speed should grab some people’s attention.
Gray Gunter LB, Gilbert – Gunter isn’t the biggest or fastest linebacker, but his skill set is more than adequate. He was a big-time tackler for the Indians last season and that will continue next season. This will be an opportunity to show his speed on top of his instincts matter.
Tyler Williams DL, Lake City – Williams is mammoth at 300 pounds. He’s strong and difficult to block at the point of attack. If he can have a solid showing here with the pads off, his stock might begin rising quickly. He also plays offensive line.
Dontrell Wilson DL, Camden – Camden is known for turning out defensive linemen for the next level and Wilson might be the next great one in line. He’s strong, quick and physical. He had over 60 tackles last season and should see the production increase over his next two seasons.
Jaryn Fox Jaryn Fox 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Carolina Forest | 2026 SC RB, Carolina Forest – Fox has all the tools to be an elite running back. And these events at the combine should fit right into his wheelhouse. He’s an athletic freak and he might end up putting up eye-popping numbers to go along with his running powers.
Terry Gordon Terry Gordon 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB South Florence | 2026 State SC LB, South Florence – Gordon is another athletic freak that should excel in this format. He’s bullish at 6-foot, 225 pounds but can make plays all over the field. He should impress in all the individual workouts.
Derek Howard QB, Ridge View – Howard was a backup last season at Ridge View, but he should be given the keys to the offense the next three years. He is going to impress whenever he throws the football. He’s also going to get bigger and stronger over that time so he could be one of the top prospects in the 2027 class.
Eric Richardson WR, Lugoff-Elgin – Richardson is a basketball player as well and those skills translate to the football field. This is a perfect format to get people talking about the rising sophomore. He should grade well on all the stations and let it be known he’s a two-sport standout.
Dorian Knowles TE, Hartsville – Knowles is a classic throwback that will help the Red Foxes in a lot of different ways. He’s got good pass catching skills and can block at the point of attack.
