First up we have a pair of 25’s that we have currently ranked outside the top 15 positionally that I believe could break their way into the top 10 before the end of the season!
- Graham Junge Graham Junge 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Flat Rock | 2025 State MI , Flat Rock- Coming off a sophomore spectacular 2023 season, this kid is ready to jump into the spotlight in his final high school season as he threw for 27 TDs and over 2,400 yards. He has done nothing but grow and mature and find ways to be productive. He’s a 4.0 kid in the classroom, and has done nothing but impress on and off the field in my eyes. He has a nice release of the football and has the arm strength to make nearly any throw. When the play breaks down he can manipulate the pocket and keep his eyes down field, or he can take off and scramble for yardage. I’m nothing but excited to see what Junge can do this fall as he is in my mind as a player to watch in 2024.
- Reid Grimmer Reid Grimmer 6'4" | 175 lbs | QB Spring Lake | 2025 State MI , Spring Lake- Tired of me singing this kids praise yet? Too bad! Reid is one of my favorite under the radar prospects. Grimmer does the majority of his damage from the pocket with his incredibly strong arm and great vision. He tends to diagnose a defense and make reads quickly. When the pocket does break down, he does a really nice job of getting up field and getting yards or throwing on the run. I’m stoked to see what he has in store for his senior season!
Next up we have a couple of 26’s that have caught my eye on film and have given me a reason to really want to see them live soon!
- Brady Thomas Brady Thomas 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Brother Rice | 2026 State MI , Brother Rice- I’d really like to see Brady in person this season for a few reasons. I want to see how he develops with this new coaching staff, and I want to see how he handles the pressure. As for his play, there aren’t a ton of big question marks. He has the arm talent to make most of the throws, he does a nice job in the pocket avoiding pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. He makes good decisions and shows a clear football IQ. I am super high on his ability and have a good feeling about his trajectory!
- Ben Farkas Ben Farkas 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB St Clair | 2026 MI , St. Clair- I’ve spoke of Ben before, but I really want to see him again in the regular season. He put on a great performance at our Showcase a couple of months ago, and it got me really excited. He can make throws at every level, can go back shoulder, over the top, hit timing routes and more. He moves well inside the pocket, and also has a knack for escaping and working outside the pocket when it breaks down. Everything I see from him physically and mentally points to positive things for Ben moving forward.
Finally, the 2027 class has really surprised me with some of the talent within it. These are 2 athletes I am at as guys that could make strides in their development this season.
- Grayson Fellows Grayson Fellows 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Kenowa Hills | 2027 State MI , Kenowa Hills- I think I have gone back and watched his film maybe 10 times at this point. Every time I do I notice something else I really like. He has a strong arm that can fire it on the money from multiple arm slots, he has fast and precise decision making, can throw off platform. He’s athletic enough to do some running and hurt teams with his legs, and maybe one of the most valuable skills of all is he has a ton of experience already. Working under the direction of his father who has proven to be a great coach, I think his trajectory is high and I think he will be a hot name this fall as he leads Kenowa Hills.
- Jack DeVries Jack DeVries 6'2" | 165 lbs | QB Schoolcraft | 2027 State MI , Schoolcraft- The film on this kid really surprised me. I really hope I get to see him in person soon because I really came away impressed after seeing his clips. He stands tall in the pocket, looks in total control and doesn’t get happy feet. He has a strong arm where he just drives the ball right into the hands of his receiver, and does a nice job of putting touch on the ball when he goes overtop. He can make good reads in the read option game and when he gets out in space he is a load to bring down and can make guys miss. Schoolcraft has to be ecstatic about the years coming for them with Jack at the helm!
