Throughout the month of February, Prep Redzone Oklahoma is updating our prospect rankings for each class. And for the state’s 2025 class, we’re updating the rankings and expanding it to 175 prospects. Earlier this week, we released the 2025 Top 175 and throughout the week, we’ll be putting the spotlight on different players and position groups. In this post, we’re putting that spotlight on the quarterback position and this position group class could very well be the best in state history. Five of the top twenty overall prospects are quarterbacks. In fact, we’ve already covered Carl Albert’s Kevin Sperry Kevin Sperry 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Denton Guyer | 2025 TX and Muskogee’s Jamarian Ficklin Jamarian Ficklin 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Muskogee | 2025 State OK earlier this week in our Top Ten Spotlight. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more prospect breakdowns within the 2025 class. And check back each Monday this month for another class update!
Union quarterback Shaker Reisig Shaker Reisig 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State OK has been one of the state’s best signal callers since his freshman season. Unfortunately for Reisig, he had his junior season impacted by a shoulder injury to his non-throwing shoulder. He was able to come back for the playoffs but it halted what was turning out to be a phenomenal junior season. Reisig recently committed to Utah shortly after taking a visit up there. That won’t slow down his recruitment because he is still one of the more accurate quarterbacks in the state. He rarely makes a mistake and if he does, he doesn’t make the same one twice. We’re hoping to see a full season from Reisig this fall.
Edmond Memorial quarterback and Kansas commit David McComb David McComb 6’3″ | 215 lbs | QB Edmond Memorial | 2025 State OK is in that same conversation with Reisig. ever since his freshman season, McComb was one of the top quarterbacks in the class and he has become one of the top overall players in the state. McComb put up some monster numbers last season and is going to more than likely hold every single passing record in Edmond Memorial history. And those records might not ever be threatened if he has another season this fall like we saw in 2023. Now, McComb is hungry to have success in the playoffs to match what he’s able to do in the regular season. We can’t wait to see what he can do in 2024.

Deer Creek quarterback Grady Adamson Grady Adamson 6’1″ | 215 lbs | QB Deer Creek | 2025 State OK has continued to elevate his game over the last few seasons. Since taking over as QB1 heading into his sophomore year, the Antlers have continued to put more responsibilities on his plate and every time he responds. Adamson showed last fall that he can be a legitimate threat to run the football in addition to what he can do with his arm. And there’s no doubt that Adamson is going to come into this season hungry to lead his team to new heights after they fell short in the semifinals in back to back seasons. Adamson is one of the top available quarterbacks in this 2025 class and he’ll have a lot of attention this spring.
Highlights
More attention needs to be focused on western Oklahoma and Fairview signal caller Jax Bernard Jax Bernard 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB Fairview | 2025 State OK after he’s led them to back to back state championships and back to back perfect seasons. As a sophomore in 2022, Bernard was good and put up strong numbers. As a junior in 2023, Bernard was one of the best players in the state. He put on a show every single week and that ended with a great performance in the state championship game. Bernard is going to go into this fall not only hungry to win another state title but hungry to prove that he belongs among the state’s best at quarterback. There’s no doubt in our mind he can play at that level.
Regent Prep quarterback John Mark Roller John Mark Roller 6’1″ | QB Regent Prep | 2025 State OK made a big jump in the latest ranking updates and we’re fired up to see what he can do this spring and summer. Regent Prep has been an 8-man program but that changes this fall as they move up to Class A and start playing 11-man football. We think that Roller will be ready for the test and he certainly belongs in this breakdown of some of the top quarterbacks in the class. He’s been insanely productive over the last few seasons and he has the potential to continue his rise up this list. Roller is determined to prove that he belongs in this group and we think that he’s on the path to doing just that.
