Sperry rushed for 195 yards and had two touchdowns in a 44-7 in over Crowley. He has been a key cog in the Wildcats offense as they move on to the fourth round of the playoffs. He has the speed to make the big runs and he is a powerful runner in between the tackles. Sperry is a strong passer with the ability to make pinpoint throws. He recently committed to Florida State.

had an instant impact when he moved from Texas to Oklahoma last summer. He joined a Carl Albert program that was already the favorite in Class 5A and made a star-studded program even better. Sperry lived up to the hype last season as he helped guide the Titans to a state championship. He was easily one of the best quarterbacks in the state and the thing that impressed us the most was his ability and poise in the toughest games of the year. We saw Sperry and the Titans in person in arguably their three toughest games. Muskogee, Guthrie and the title game against Del City. Sperry did some very impressive things in all three games and it’s just like they say, big time players make big time plays in big time game.s

was the star. As the Roughers did a good job containing the Carl Albert running game, Sperry could not be contained. He threw for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns and also had 50 yards and a score on the ground. It wouldn’t be the first time that Sperry carried the Titans to a win this season.Access all of Prep Redzone

still has the grittiest performance we’ve seen in person. In their week eight clash with Guthrie, Sperry was beat up all night and still got up, time after time and led a game-winning drive with a touchdown pass on fourth and goal. Sperry will be challenged again this weekend by the Del City defense. But it’s hard to imagine that the OU commit won’t be ready for another fight. He’s already proven he can take shot after shot and continue to keep swinging.

was nearly perfect on the night as they beat Collinsville 52-14. Sperry would throw for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 8-9 passing. He also added 60 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 11 carries. Carl Albert rolled from the start and now they will see a familiar foe in the semifinals. They face Bishop McGuinness on Friday night in Noble.

moved from Texas to Oklahoma and landed at Carl Albert. That took the Titans to unprecedented heights in terms of potential and expectations. Sperry committed to OU earlier this year and has been arguably the best quarterback in the state this season. Sperry’s performance against Guthrie with a severely injured shoulder is something that we’ll remember for a while. There’s no doubt that Sperry has weapons but this kid is an absolute gamer and he’s primed for special moments this month.

moved to Oklahoma and enrolled at Carl Albert. We didn’t include Sperry in the last update but he debuts here at the #5 overall spot and the top quarterback in the class. Sperry has done nothing but impress us since taking over the QB1 job for the defending 5A champs. There’s no doubt that he has some serious talent all around him but he’s done some things this fall that you can’t help but be impressed by. He’s also coming off arguably the grittiest performance we’ve seen in person this year as he battled injuries to throw the game-winning touchdown against Guthrie on the road.

It was the game of the week in week eight and it lived up to all the hype and then some. #1 Carl Albert survived a trip to “The Rock” and beat #3 Guthrie 24-21 in the final minute. Junior quarterback and OU commit

had arguably the grittiest performance we’ve seen all season. The final stats won’t blow you away but it’s what he did all night and at the end that lands him here. Sperry threw for nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns and also added 41 yards on the ground. But that last touchdown pass came on fourth and goal with less than a minute to play and Carl Albert trailing 21-17. It would win the game for the Titans and keep the defending champs unbeaten. Sperry was beat up all night long by a stout Guthrie defense and came up big when it mattered most.

was 10-18 for 148 yards and two touchdowns and added 41 yards on 12 carries. But Sperry finished the game 8-9 between their last drive in the first half and the second half and two massive touchdown passes in the win. But more importantly, Sperry kept fighting throughout the night. Sperry was physical against arguably the most physical defense in Class 5A. There were multiple times when it looked like Sperry was either going to be done for the night or miss significant time. That never happened. He kept coming back for more and led the Titans on the game-winning drive.
